Britney (bookishbritney) | 109 comments Is this your first time reading Fahrenheit 451 or a reread? This is a reread for me but it has been years since I first read it (about 10 years or so).

Jim (therapon24601) | 139 comments This is my fourth time through I believe. Pribably 5 years since I last read it.

Joan Lehrer (sugar1spice) I have it now on my Kindle but have not yet started it. I read it in high school about 60 years ago so have forgotten more than I remember.

I remember it being a big deal when they first started offering it as an eBook! How are you liking it on this read through?

Wow, 4 times! Have you caught any new things you didn't before on this latest read?

Jim (therapon24601) | 139 comments Yes apparently the versions I had didn't have about the last 30 pages. It ended right after Montag met up with the guys on the railroad track.

I think the one I read years ago also ended there. Ironic that they cut passages out of Fahrenheit 451 of all books. I wonder WHY they ended it there. It wasn't that the original ending was any less hopeful. Hmm.
