Cross My Heart, Hope to Die
question
Did you really believe that after the 3rd book the suspected killers really did it?

Does anybody else think that after the first 3 books of the lying game the plots start to loose their charm? I mean you get used to the same pattern : emma thinks X killed sutton---> she's 100% X killed her and then sutton remembers something about X that makes it look like X is the killer ---> then it turns out X didn't kill her and what Sutton saw is explained ---> and then a new suspect and the same for the next book. I guess to sum up reading the last 3 or 4 books i never really was convinced anybody was a reall suspect. Is this just me? Or did any of you feel the same?

I tried to finish the last 50 pages of Cross my Heart, Hope to Die but my heart wasn't in it. So I just skimmed the last few pages so I can start the last book. I feel like you really only need to read the first and last book since the author mentions everything from the previous ones. This series seriously didn't need to be 6 books long. She could have had about 2 to 3 suspects in one book making the book long and the series shorter. Every suspect doesn't need their own book. The story gets boring after Emma continues to be in the same position after EVERY book. Totally not necessary!

I just tried to think of a person that was never made to look suspicious.
