I am curious as to whether anyone has read The Shining Girls and what their impressions were. I only read about 30 pages and couldn't get into it. I didn't like the amount of profanity, but I thought that the general plot idea was interesting. Someday I want to pick it up and try again. It may be that I just wasn't in the mood for it when I tried it the first time. I would love to hear what others thought, although please don't post spoilers! ;-)
You know I enjoyed it, the concept was really interesting. Guess I didn't see the profanity, or glossed over it. Found it fast- paced.
I will definitely have to give it another go sometime. What doesn't appeal to me at one time occasionally turns out to be interesting and enjoyable when I return to it later.
The Broken Destiny, by Carlyle Labuscaghne, (I never get her surname right, forgive me Carlyle)The Rose of Cavendish by Lea Cherry.
Evenescense, Carlyle's second novel of the Broken Series coming out the same time as Firebolt, book one of the Dragonian Series,
