I enjoy his stripped down, straight ahead style.

I just finished The Dark Ones and have already started The Killing Kind.
I was ready to start The Freakshow, but I let the reviews sway me. I'm angry about that, I never read reviews before the book, and I really never let reviews cloud my judgement. I'll read that next, but the first chapter of The Killing Kind already sucked me in.

Depraved. Highly recommended, but to be honest, Bryan Smith is one of those authors. I would pretty much read anything he wrote.
