Haha yeah that did sound somewhat disgusting... ew, graphic image alert :) We could arrange a writing contest, but what would the prizes be?

What about the judges?

Oh yeah someone in the suggestions thread suggested a similar thing... She said that the mod could do it for the first competition, and for the second one the winner could judge... But I like your idea too. I could ask for two other volunteers for judges.

Can we post fanfiction in this group as well, or just writing that's completely our own?

Also, can we have more than one thread, or does all of our writing have to go under one topic?

I'm not sure where to ask this question, so I'll post it here & maybe someone can direct me.

What do publishers want in a cover letter for a short story submission? I've seen some publications requiring a cover letter & in some cases, it is optional, but they don't explain what they want. Thanks!

I would post a new topic under the "Ask questions about writing" folder. (Hopefully I won't be the only one with advice to give.)

I posted a topic on the feedback thing and it popped over to general! Is there a reason for that?
