mary was trying to evade the hunters it was dark and her powers were active.

Ena was curled up in a ball sound asleep. her tail curled around her.

Brandon was in wolf form, wandering through the woods.

Mary could smell someone else besides the hunters.
afraid she might give out her hidind spot she stayed silent

Brandon sniffed out someone else and walked towards them.

oh no the smell is getting closer i hope its not another hunter. she readied her fangs.

Brandon stopped in front of her.

Mary looked up at the person in front of her she put down her claws seeing that it was not a hunter,"who are you?"

He just growled. He would have answered her, but he couldn't talk in wolf form and couldn't change back into a human until the sun rose.

Mary just looked at him. then she smelled hunters!."get down quick!"

Ena's ears lay flat on her head as she stalked her way through the dark away from the smell of the hunters.

Brandon just turned to them and jumped up on them. The ones that he hadn't he ran off and the ones he did were knocked unconscious.

Mary giggled,"That was so cool hey what are you? I'm a half-breed, so I was thinking maybe you too?"

He nodded.

"Hey were you being chased by those hunters too?"

He shook his head.

"I thought that all half-breeds were being chased by hunters."said mary

He had no answer to that. Then he looked at the sky and started changing back to a human. The sun had risen. "I had not known of these men until now."

mary's ears and tail had dissapeared,"I see, what's your name?"she asked

Ena burst into the area. She bumped into Mary and skidded to a stop. "Hunters!" she gasped.

"Brandon."

"what about hunters?!"said mary getting up and brushing herself off

"They're still coming! Oops....um....sorry about that" said Ena.

Brandon frowned. "Then they don't learn."

"it's OK but why would hunters be after you? you look like you're human."

"Only during the day." He said, then turned and walked off to the city.

"so do you!"

Mary had now gone into her demon form,"if they're after you then you must be a half-breed also. Or am I wrong?"

Ena's ears and tail had just finished sprouting so she looked at Mary and nodded

"well we better hide somewhere the scent is getting much closer"said mary with her nose in the air

"ok but where should we go?"

"theres a small shack to the right so we could hide there, thats where I usually hide"

"ok"

"follow me,"she showed her a small house no, more like a shed but they went inside.

"nice place"

"We'll be safe in here."said mary slouching onto the ground.

Ena followed suit

They passed by with out even noticing the small house
"phew, that was close"

"Yeah it was..."
