The garden has a wide range of tropical looking plants, to wild flowers, to wintery plants. It is sectioned off into 4 sections: Winter, Summer, Spring, Fall. No matter what season it is, in the section, it can be the middle of summer and be snowing gently in the Winter quadrant. It is a popular place to hang out.

Aurora was sitting in the spring section of the garden holding a white rose from a nearby bush. It was beautiful. She started to sing softly to herself.
((tHE SONGS ONCE UPON A DREAM :) ))
((tHE SONGS ONCE UPON A DREAM :) ))
Prince Philip saw a beautiful girl sitting on a bench singing. When she got to a part in the song that was repeated a lot, he joined in, walking up behind her, singing with his beautiful, deep voice.
((Aww! He walked in at the part that he jumps in and dances with her in the movie..))

Aurora turned and saw a handsome man who was singing along with her. She smiled and got up and grabbed his hand to pull him into a waltz. She didn't know who he was or anything.

Philip waltzed along with the beautiful girl as if they had practiced it a million times. The steps came out perfectly. He sang with her gently and guided her in the dance, waltzing along.

((Same :) ))
Aurora let him guide her as they kept singing. She wondered how he knew the lyrics as she had written the song herself. She also wanted to know he was.

When they finished singing, he held the note off and let it fade as he turned her around to face him. He looked into her gorgeous eyes and golden hair.
Aurora panicked and released herself from his grip and ran off. She couldn't believe she had danced with a man she didn't know, what would her guardians say..Ladys should not be in the company of men unless they were courting them. It was wrong.
"Wait! Come back!" He called as she left, he half-followed her, but stopped. She didn't look like she wanted to talk to him. He sighed as he thought of her hands in his and her golden hair. He walked off to his dorm, hoping to see her again.
((NNOOOOO!!!! Haha do you want them to meet somewhere after that episode? Maybe the lake or something?))

((Hahah I was expecting him to run after her but yeah sure.))
Aurora ignored him and carried on running till she reached a tree covered in oranges. She stopped and sat down by the tree. What had she done?

((He can run after her.))
Philip saw the girl run to an orange tree. He turned and followed her, instead of going to his dorm as planned. He walked up behind her.
((I thought that Aurora ran up to the building, not deeper into the garden.. :) ))

((Ah... :) ))
Aurora didn't hear anything so she started to say her thoughts out loud. "I really should not have don that. It's not right for a lady to be with a man without a chaperone to escort her. It will ruin my reputation if anyone finds out... But he's really handsome and has the most charming smile.." she said the first part upset and the second part dreamily.

Philip smiled and sat down on the back side of the tree that she was sitting on, so that she couldn't see him. "..And she's got the most beautiful voice. Her hair is like strands of pure sunshine." He said, knowing that she could hear him.
Aurora jumped and stood up "You, you ...." she stuttered. Had he heard all of that and he thought her hair looked like sunshine and she had a beautiful voice?
He walked around to where she was standing. "My name's Philip." He said with a smile. This girl was beautiful. Her hair was glowing in the evening sunshine.
Aurora didn't know what to do should she give her name, but would happen if she did it was improper for a girl to talk to a man let alone give him a name of familiarity. She should run off again but her would only follow her. "My name is Briar Rose," she said finally giving him the name she had used for 16 years.
"Briar Rose.." He smiled gently, and spoke to her softly and kindly. "A beautiful name to match an equally beautiful girl. The pleasure is mine to meet you, Briar Rose." He said formally with a small bow.
Aurora curtsied "The pleasure is all mine," she said. She had noticed when talking to Rapunzel and Belle that her speech was incredibly formal compared to theirs.
He took her hand and kissed in gently and let go of it. "So, Briar Rose," He would never get tired of saying that beautiful name. "How are you enjoying it here?" He asked her kindly.
"It's very nice, Thank you," she said smiling. She really needed to leave, this was improper. What if someone saw them? It would leave her reputation in shreds. They would think her to be some kind of scarlet women
Briar Rose looked worried. Philip smiled at her. "Is something wrong?" He asked gently. He was so glad to have met her. She was the girl of his dreams.
" Just that we shouldn't be out here alone without a chaperone," she said biting her lower lip. She hoped no one came along.
(( i'll be slow replying i'm watching footloose :) ))
(( i'll be slow replying i'm watching footloose :) ))
Philip smiled calmly at her. "Okay, well, Briar Rose, how about we promise each other that we will act as friends? We won't need a chaperone if we're just friends, right?" He asked her. He wanted to talk to her and get to know her.
((That's okay! I have to go for a few hours so when I get back you'll be asleep. Have a nice rest of the evening/night!))

" Umm okay then..." She said hesitantly. She hoped that his plan would work and she would like another friend but didn't the rule apply for all male female interactions,
He beamed at her, glad that she agreed. "What do you do for fun? I can tell that you sing. You have a great voice." He smiled softly.
" I can play piano and I love to dance," she answered smiling. She loved any form of dance especially ballroom or ballet.
"I ride my horse, sing, and work on my sword skills." He said with a smile. "Those sound like good hobbies to have."
((Bye!))
((Bye!))
"They are fun and sword fighting? interesting," she said with a smile. She hoped he was a commoner like her as then maybe she stood a chance of courting him.
He desperately wanted to let her know how he felt about her, but they were acting as friends. The girl was a commoner, so Philip acted as though he was one also. Philip had too much modesty to be a prince is what everyone told him. "Yes, I train with my sword quite a bit." He smiled in a charming, yet not flirtatious way.
"That sounds like it could be fun, Do you have somebody who trains you?" she asked smiling. She was glad to have another friend.
"Yeah. A.." He almost said said servant.. "Friend." He smiled. "Do you have anyone who sings and plays music with you?" He asked as he looked into those royal blue eyes of Briar Rose's.
" Not very often, my guardians taught me and my friends at this school have sung with me once," she said smiling. She was enjoying talking to him and a little of her formality dropped but not a lot.
He smiled at her. "I'll sing with you too." He grinned. Their voices blended with each others' in a beautiful way. They sounded really good together.
She smiled shyly but she was happy he wanted to sing with her, " So do you know any of the teachers here?" She asked curiously. She really did want to know who her teachers were before class started.
"There's a new teacher.. Queen Leah. She sounds great. She's the dancing teacher, I think." He said with a smile, hoping that Queen Leah would put him and Briar Rose together as dancing partners. That would be a closer step to courting her.
"Queen Leah, she is the queen of a nation near France isn't she?" Aurora said smiling. She came from the nation Queen Leah ruled and had heard much about her from her guardians.
Philip smiled at her. "I think so. I have heard much about her beauty among the lands. I haven't seen her face-to-face since I was 4. I don't remember much from then, of course." He smiled at Briar Rose admiring her beauty silently.
"You have met her? and I shouldn't think you would," she said curiously. Queen Leah was supposed to be very beautiful and kind.
Philip made a face worthy of a five year old, but quickly straightened up. "My father promised my hand in marriage to a princess, Queen Leah's daughter, so when she was born, I went to the ceremony." He sent Briar Rose an apologetic face.
((How is she going to find out that she's the princess? She's already 16, right?))
((How is she going to find out that she's the princess? She's already 16, right?))
((Yeah she is, her letter came before they could tell her so I am going to wait to see who makes the evil fairy and then go from their :) ))
"How nice for you, I bet she is beautiful," Aurora said wistfully. She wanted to be a princess and maybe then she would get a prince but instead she would have to stick to a commoner.

"I have no idea. I haven't seen her since she was born." He said softly, a little ashamed that he was going to marry someone, but was in love with this beautiful girl.
"Oh... I see. Well whoever she is she must be beautiful" Aurora said with a slightly sad smile. She wanted a chance to fall in love with him. She didn't love him yet she just had a crush on him.
"I'm sure she is also." He sighed as he looked at Briar Rose's beautiful golden hair swish in the evening sunlight. He wanted to dance and sing with her, but was a little forbidden to do that.
"Well that's good then, I have to go now," she said getting up and heading back to her room. She hoped she could remember her way back to the room.
His eyes widened a little as he realized that it was getting a little late. "Oh, sure. I hope to see you again soon." He said with a smile. He wished that he hadn't told her about his future wife.
"Goodbye," she called over her shoulder as she walked up the path. She hoped her new friends would be able to give her some advice on what to do.
Philip walked over to a bench and sat there for about an hour, but also left afterwards. It was getting dark, and he didn't want to be outside too much after dark.
Philip walked back a few days later, thinking about the beautiful girl that he had met. He started softly singing her song. He was scared that he had scared her off or something.
