Central Park has pretty much stayed the same over the past 40 years, so it still looks like:

Nathalie: my arms were folded across my chest bitterly, the prospect of being in this public space making me want to vomit. I followed after my sister, a royal pout on my lips. "are you even sure about this?" I raised an eyebrow. It was startin to get darkish.
Nathalie: I scowl back, refusing to sit by her on the filthy park bench. I stood rigidly by the tree, smoothing my hair over and over as I observed people in the park. My heart skipped a few beats as I spotted a few immature teenage boys skateboarding throughout the park, their greedy eyes staring at me and my sister. "do you think they're rich? Im only gonna-" I cut myself off as a police officer strutted by, glaring at our outfits. I stuck out my Tongue, resuming an innocent face.
Nathalie: "hey!" I snapped, edging away from her. "You know I hate being called nat, and it's freezing! Look atthese people! They're all scums! And homeless!" I protested openly, my arms folded across my chest. "shut up!" I shouted at her, crossing the walkway to the other side, careful not to lean aginst the fence. I tugged at my short skirt, goosebumps forming on my bare arms.
((so we could either have someone rp with us, or just narrate the first time around? If thure successful lol))
Nathalie: "mila..." I whined, clenching her hand tightly as they came closer. I brushed my hair behind my shoulder, watching mila to make the next move. On closer inspection, I realised that these two guys weren't actually that bad looking. "dibs right," I whispered to my sister, tugging my shirt down a bit lower as they approached.
Nathalie: I stare wide eyed after my sister, horrified. She was leaving me all alone! I gazed up slowly at the other guy, and shook my head, rolling my eyes. "you new at this?" he asked, slightly amused. "mm, is it that obvious?" I purred sweetly, just like mila said to. I reached up and touched his cheek, my finger tracing a pattern onto his chest. He hands me a stack of bills, and I tuck it into my waistband, seeing that tucking it in my bra would be oh so uncomfortable. "lead th way," I mimicked sarcastically, earning a hearty laugh.
((uhhhh now what??? Hahaha xD next time around it could be some shadow/demon bad guy dude!! Imagine the drama there... And a shadowhunter could recur one of them and then-swoon! Haha ))
((yeah, it'd be tomorrow then. I saw angel had a guy Dow wielded bad guy, but it wasn't finished yet so... It'd have to be a good guy then))((most definitely))
Nathalie: When time passed and my first client was satisfied, I jogged back to our meetingplace in the park with my hair ruffled. I fixed my appearance, trying to look as neat as possible. This wasn't too bad, I decided. Hopefully I wouldn't catch some sort of disease... I took the risk to count my money while waiting, satisfied with my pay.
((I might sleep soon))
Nathalie: I nearly screamed when mila appeared out of nowhere beside me. I scowled, tucking my money away in my waistband. "can we go home? Im exhausted," I yawned, fixing milas shirt. A few other dark figures wandered the area, and I wanted out right away.
Bri: Finally, my aimless wanderings lead me to central park. Thank god, I can get somewhere from here...eventually. I have no desire to go back to the institute right now.
Nathalie: "you call this early?" I demanded. "I'm not working anymore, i need my beatuy sleep," I sniffed, catwalking towards the apartments. I didn't like the concept of walking places either. Not without an entourage. I veered away from a semi large group of weirdos making catcalls. Glancing at my sister to see what sh would do.
Kaden sat on a bench, his sketch pad laid out on his lap and his pencils right beside him, staring down at his blank paper. What to draw, what to draw..., he thought as he tapped a pencil against his chin.
{Bri}I walked around central park for a few minutes, before deciding to sit down. I sat on the first bench I saw, which happened to be next to some guy with a sketchpad. I had a headache from the fae food and was mostly lost in thought, so I didn't notice that he was a shadowhunter like myself.
Kaden groaned as he laid his head on his sketch pad, not having notice the girl that had just sat beside him. Usually he was flowing with inspiration, but today he wasnt having much luck.((They can know each other right? Cause Kaden has been living at the institute for a while now))
((Yeah. But Bri is spacey and irritable right now.)){Bri}
I sat very still, trying to ignore the pounding headache that was getting worse every second. By the angel, it was like a hangover. Dammit. I wondered why I even bothered today, it might be better to just go hide in my room, because the universe was clearly out to get me.
((Alrighty ^.^))Kaden looked up, noticing the girl for the first time. "Bri? What are you doing here?" he asked, slightly confused to see her here. She looked kind of out of it, which made him wonder what was wrong.
{Bri}I looked up and over at him, "Kaden. Hi. I am trying to work off my headache, moaning about fae food and trying to be not-pissed off about the fact that Violet broke my arm this morning. My day is going great, thanks." I said, irritable and sarcastic.
"Violet broke your arm?" Kaden asked, looking at Bri with a worried expression. "Are you alright?" he asked, despite her pissy mood he was determined to try and make her feel better.
{Bri}"Well, I have a new iratze to add to the ever-growing list, so physically, I'm fine, yeah. Thanks." I said the last part flatly. Even if I was grateful, which I kind of was- he was being nicer than Zander had, I had never been good at expressing emotions.
Kaden raised an eyebrow as he looked at Bri with worry, but other then that he didnt ask any further questions on that subject. "So, did you come here for the view, or are you stalking me?" he asked playfully, hoping to at least change her mood a little bit.
{Bri}"Quite honestly, I wandered aimlessly here from Taki's. I was just happy to get here, I can figure out how to get back from here. My geography is truly terrible." I crinkled my nose, "Along with my latin."
Kaden smiled faintly, "Well as long as you're here, would you like to be my muse? I havent been having much inspiration today," he said, showing her his blank sketch pad. "So I could use someone pretty, like yourself, to be my subject for the day."
{Bri}I smiled a little. "Well, it can't be worse than anything else that I've done today, so why not?"
Kaden grinned, "Really? Sweet," he said, picking up his pencil once more and adjusting the pad in his lap. "Dont get weirded out if I stare at you for a while, Im just studieing you is all." he said with a slight laugh as he began to start his sketch.
Kaden smirked, "It doesnt matter, however you want to be is fine." he said, already starting a light sketch of her face.
She smiled for a second, before her face returned to it's half-scowling half-neutral expression. On a normal day, her expression would have been a confident smirk, but today she was feeling too insecure, jumbled and sad to even throw on a ghost of that expression.
Kaden's expression went serious as he began to draw, glancing up at Bri every so often as he drew. "You're a pretty enjoyable subject to draw," he mused as he continued to sketch.
Kaden laughed softly, "Maybe," he said, a grin clear on his face. "Or maybe Im just desperate for something to draw," he joked, glancing at her with a lazy smile.
"You're in the middle of a park. You can't be desperate. You really want something to draw, just look at those two girls over there." She said, talking about the two mundies dressed like hookers. Hell, maybe they were hookers.
Kaden glanced over at the two girls Bri was talking about and made a slightly grossed out face. "Gross, if I wanted to draw something like them I could just look in the garbage," he said, resuming his sketching. "I like to draw beauty, not trash."
She laughed, "Then thank you, I suppose." She tossed her hair, "Although, of course, I've always known that I'm beautiful. It's nice for you to have noticed too, though."
"You're welcome," Kaden said, adding in the rest of the details to his drawing. Pleased with his drawing, he turned it around to show Bri. "What do you think?" he asked, hoping she to liked it as much as he did.
She stared at it, somewhat amazed. He had managed to sketch her face in one of the small moments she was smiling, and she was taken aback by simply how...happy she looked. "I think you are quite the artist," she said simply.
"Why thank you, Im glad you like it." Kaden said as he turned the book back to himself and wipped the black off his hands and onto his jeans. "Do you like to draw?" he asked curiously, beginning a new drawing.
"I have a talent for runes, but drawing isn't really my thing. I stick to my violin and piano." She said, suddenly wanting to play again. She had only been frustrated earlier....had she even properly put her violin away?
Kaden nodded as he continued on with his drawing, suddenly feeling inspired. "Thats cool, I've never really been any good with an instrument."
"Well, I've never been any good at portraits. Everyone has their talents and shortcomings. My aim, for one, is awful." What is going on with me? She thought, she was never this nice, not to anyone except violet, sometimes Zander. Now she was being nice to this guy? Whom she almost never spoke to?
