The Running Track is a track that wraps around the lake, but it isn't right up at the lake. It's about 20 feet away from the lake at every point.

Gaston decided to get some exercise. He jogged down to the track and kept jogging around. He had to keep his leg muscles up somehow. He was wearing a tight shirt that made his muscles very prominent and athletic shorts.
