Just saw this article from Litreactor: "FX Plans Sequel Series to ‘American Psycho’"

He's gonna have a protégé/sidekick?? haha, the default arc when money guys are milking a series.

A few that spring to mind:
- the last Indiana Jones movie,
- Batman Beyond (yeah, the animated movie, don't give me shit). Its about an older Batman turning the reigns over to an ambitious young crime-fighter guy.
- 90210 tv series has a couple of the old castmembers being counselors at West Beverly High
- The Die Hard franchise gave up on John Mcclaine's ability to carry the series on his own after just two movies. The third, fourth and fifth film pair him up with someone he can butt heads with.

Patrick Bateman and his Partner....it sounds like a soulless sit com based on some ghastly fan fiction.

I'm not a fan of Anime typically, but I have noticed that a lot of anime films have that hyper-simplistic sort of animation. Like you're watching a series of comic book images and there's like one thing moving (usually the mouth of the character who's speaking)...

What if, instead of this awful-sounding and misguided t.v. series where Patrick Bateman has a sidekick serial killer...what if they did an anime movie...and include all the violence, but do it in that anime style where its just not that visually complex....

And, while I'm dreaming, I'd like Air to compose the score for it....
