The Beach
Naveen walked down the beach, lazing around before term started. He turned out his pockets, looking for a bit of money to play with - nothing.
Rapunzel galloped down to the beach wearing a one piece suit, her large blue eyes shining brightly. She ran past a boy turning out his pockets and up to where the waves break. She stuck a toe in the water as she dropped her hair.
"Why, hello," Naveen said amiably to Rapunzel, glancing up at the green flag. Gah, life was so boring without money to spare.
Rapunzel looked up and smiled at the boy. "Hello, I'm Rapunzel!" She said happily. "Are you excited to be here? I sure am!" She exclaimed lightly as she walked a little further into the water. The water was a little cold, but on such a warm day, it felt good. Especially, when you had 70 feet of hair to carry around.
"Why are you so happy? This is a school, no?" Naveen said, leaning back and lying on the sand. "Perhaps if we did not have to do work, we would be able to have fun here," he added. Stupid selfish parents not wanting to give their own son money, he thought.
"I've lived in a tower all my life. You have no idea how good it is to get out!" She stopped jumping around and plopped herself next to him. "What's wrong. You seem.. glum." She asked him.
((Haha yeah they are opposites..))
((Haha yeah they are opposites..))
"Oh, perhaps the fact that my parents are not allowing me to have any of the family fortune and sent me here has something to do with it?" Naveen snapped sarcastically.
Rapunzel's large turquoise eyes widened when he snapped at her. "Oh, that's terrible." She said quietly. She actually had no idea what the big deal was. It was great here and he could go get a job somewhere to get some money so he could just have the money that way. Oh well. Rapunzel wasn't one to judge.
"I wouldn't expect you to sympathize," he said aloud, his glare softening. "You obviously never had to worry about money in your life." He finally found a coin in the top pocket of his pullover and began tossing it in the air, catching it every time.
Rapunzel noticed his glare soften and smiled at him a little. Maybe he was just in a bad mood today. "What do you like to do for fun?" She asked Naveen lightly, trying to make some conversation that was a little happier than what they were talking about before.
"First things first, what's your name?" Naveen asked quickly, not particularly wanting to talk about what he did for fun. Those things were all in a time before the cut-off.
Rapunzel raised an eyebrow. "I already told you my name.. It's Rapunzel." She said wearily. This guy just didn't look like he wanted to talk. Rapunzel was glad that she wasn't royalty. It looked miserable.
((Little does she know....))
((Little does she know....))
"Oh yes. I had forgotten," Naveen told her, tossing his coin up in the air a few more times. "I am Prince Naveen."
"Nice to meet you, Prince Naveen. Do you go by Prince, Naveen, or Prince Naveen?" She asked him politely unsure of what to call him.
"Just Naveen, although you can call me whatever you like," Naveen said cockily, his so-called 'charm' suddenly returned for some reason.
"Okay, so, Naveen, now can you tell me what you do for fun, or do I have to fill out an entire résumé?" She teased lightly, still wanting to know what he did for fun.
"Music, for if it be the food of love, play on!" Naveen exclaimed, pulling his ukelele out from the backpack he wore on his shoulder and strumming a few chords.
Rapunzel started humming along with Naveen's chords. "I've never played ukelele before, but I play guitar!" She said amidst the humming.
Naveen nodded. "Well, Miss Rapunzel, it was nice meeting you. I will - how do you say it - see you when I see you," he said, standing up, tucking away his ukelele and giving a bow, taking his cap off and putting it on again.
Rapunzel smiled at him. "Nice meeting you, Naveen! I hope your parents loosen up and give you some money. I'll see you around!" She laughed as she walked over to the ocean water and felt the waves lap at her feet.
"Touche," Naveen said, winking at her before heading off.
Rapunzel stood in the chilly water a few minutes after Naveen left, but got out after a bit, dried off, and made her way back up to the academy.
((Lol, I just realized Naveen didn't try to flirt with Rapunzel. That's so out of character.))
((Haha yeah, I'm gonna have Gaston flirt with everyone..(; He's so fun to play! You did Naveen well, but yeah, he's a flirt..))
((Yiss. Can't wait for someone to make Tiana.))
((Me neither! I can't wait to read conversations between those two!!))
Hercules went to the beach to run a bit and do some exercise next to the sea. It had been a long time since he las run, being at that school was getting him a little lazy. He couldn't allow that, if not it would be difficult to be back with his father, Zeus.
Gaston felt the need to exercise to win over Belle's heart. Maybe, just maybe, he wasn't quite buff enough. Though he had Ariel, who was a close second to Belle, no one could ever beat out Belle. He didn't know what he was doing wrong? Every other girl seemed to like him enough. Anyways, running on sand was one of the best exercises, because sand was hard to run on, especially dry sand. He ran in the dry sand for a bit, but got irritated, because he didn't seem to be going anywhere, and moved over to the damp sand, leaving perfect foot prints across the ocean side.
Hercules saw runing there too. So, he decided to run faster than him.He did until passed by his side and now he was on the front.
Gaston dashed after Hercules, unsure of why, and caught up to him. The water lapped at his sand-caked feet, like a dog lapping at a bowl of water. He passed Hercules, splashing in the water as he passed him.
Hercules realized the other guy didn't like it. But he wouldn't lose with him.. So, he started runing faster. Before he realized, he was having a race with that guy.
Gaston chased after Hercules, feeling the wind in his hair. He wondered why they were racing, but it felt good with the cool sea breeze. He started panting a little, but didn't slow down.
Hercules saw the man next to him, he wouldn't let him pass him. So, he tried to run faster, but he just speed up a little.
Gaston matched the guy, stride for stride, because he couldn't out run him, and it seemed that the other guy couldn't out-run him either.
They ran like that for a very long time. Hercules realized that the other guy wouldn't stop to lose. It was a hard thing for him to let him win, but he was getting bored. So he stopped and laid on the sun tired.
Gaston grinned, having not wanting to stop. He was glad that the other guy stopped. He didn't want to look wimpy to him by stopping first. He turned the opposite direction than the other guy, and went into the ocean.
Hercules saw the other guy go into the sea. He followed. "Nice race" he said smiling politely when he was next to him. "You are fast."
"Thanks. You too. You're good." He admitted, then dove under a wave before it crashed down on him. He popped up a few feet away. He grinned, though he had seawater in his eyes.
"Thanks!" Hercules said smiling. He dove under the wave too before it crushed. "I'm Hercules" he said extending him arm for a handshake.
Gaston shook his hand. "I'm Gaston." He said before he dove under another wave. He popped back up a few more feet away. "So, you like exercise, Hercules?" He asked.
Hercules jumped over this new wave, so that it wouldn't crash on his face. "Yeah," he said. "More than anything. How about you?"
"Same. So do you have your eye on any girls?" He asked, knowing that he and Hercules could probably attract any girl in the school.
"Not at the moment" Hercules said sicerely. He knew one day he would rescue some girl and become a true hero. "But I bet you have your eye on one..."
Gaston grinned. "She's the one I plan to marry. The most beautiful girl in all of France!" He took a dramatic pause as he jumped over a wave. "Her name's Belle."
"Belle? I don't know her" he said. "So you are planning to propose her? Oh, you surely are a great couple. How long have been together?" he askes curious. Marry... that was strange, they were still at school, a little bit too young.
Gaston waved a hand. "She isn't my girlfriend.. yet. I plan to ask her to marry me, because, how could she resist?" He grinned.
((Okay, I'm practically quoting the movie over here.. xD))
((Okay, I'm practically quoting the movie over here.. xD))
((Haha I expected you did))"Yeah.. I'm sure she won't resist" he said sarcastically, but in a way Gaston wouldn't notice. God, that man was selfish. She wasn't even his girlfriend! If he wanted to marry her, he had to make her fall in love with him first.
"I would charm her with a bouquet of roses, and then I would tell her all my feelings for her, then I would propose!" He said, grinning. "How does it sound?"
((no one likes my Gaston!! I wonder why.. Hhahaha I need to make him a little nicer..))

Every two or three days I'll change the flag color:
Green- Perfect, light waves, great weather
Yellow- Mild waves, still a great day at the beach
Red- Rough, drag-you-under waves, you probably don't want to swim in these conditions..
Purple: This almost never happens, but it's practically hurricane weather when this flag goes up.
Flag color now: Green
