namericanwordcat | 591 comments I am tired of heros who before the heroine treat woman as only hook ups. Any really good ones? Not virgins but you know...humans lol.

Jacqueline Rhoades (jackierhoades) | 192 comments I just finished a nice little contemporary romance In Plain Sight by Susanne Matthews . Predictable, but fun and the H is a widower who was loyal to his bitchy wife.

namericanwordcat | 591 comments lol ah the bitchy wife

Jacqueline Rhoades (jackierhoades) | 192 comments Hey, if she was sweet and loving, he couldn't be so tragically tormented, right? (snickers sarcastically) And there's a little twist of guilt in this one that placed it a step above average.

Leslie (chibilee02) I'm currently looking at my little shelved books on my desk and Trophy Husband by Lauren Blakely by Lauren Blakely comes to mind. The guy, Chris, is cute and charming and smart. He and the female lead, McKenna have great repertoire and they actually form a connection before anything real hot starts. Really funny and sweet book.

namericanwordcat | 591 comments My pleasure!

Leslie (chibilee02) I haven't read the book, but I've heard good things about it. Not only is the male lead NOT a man ho, but he's a hot, tattooed VIRGIN! You don't hear that often these days.

Deborah Ann | 514 comments I'm new to the group, so forgive me if I suggest a read that you have already spoke of, but Double Trouble, by Deborah Cooke had a good male lead.

June (ladyjune) | 630 comments I think the heroes in these books fit the bill, Finding Perfect (Fool's Gold, #3) by Susan Mallery Summer Nights (Fool's Gold, #8) by Susan Mallery . Most people assume they're playboy because they're good looking and rich but they're actually one woman kind of guy. These two were my favorite from Susan Mallery's Fool's Gold series.

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 21897 comments I've been meaning to start that series for the longest time, June! Now you made me move it up on my list.

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 21897 comments GTK, June. I have too many "buddy reads" lined up. I'm going to go screaming off into the woods one of these days. LOL!

Tracey Cramer-Kelly (traceycramer-kelly) | 19 comments I agree there is a time and place for the Man Ho but it does get old! I have 'All of You' on my TBR list too. I've read a number of military heroes who would fit the bill here but at the moment my brain isn't conjuring the titles... I do have those kind of heroes in two of the books I have written (True Surrender is a military veteran and Take Two is a Hollywood actor).Tracey Cramer-Kelly
