I think this one is on sale at Amazon in the monthly specials. I might join you guys, depends on where I am in all the other books I am reading

I am trying to get it from my library. Not sure if I will get it in time, I am #1 on the hold list. If I get it I will also be listening to the audiobook!

The Freaks (view spoiler)[ I think something is going on with them. They are probably trying to take over or something. And they are a lot smarter than what they believe. Their eyes have a part human trace in them so I think they still know what going on, they are just mad. The enclave needs to be prepared for them to attack! (hide spoiler)]

and that they took the warning or decided fighting them wasn't worth it. definitely sounds like a decision or some kind of thought. at the very least, a command by someone else to go - possibly working...together. ugh...this is not good (hide spoiler)]

The voice is kind of high pitched and annoying, but other than that, yes. It's actually going faster than I thought it would. I think I'm going to listen to another disk later tonight, so I'll be about half way through.

Did you like it?

I did like the book (disturbing but very good) but I didn't like the reader - only because the character was whiny....so the reader was EXTRA whiny.
hopefully she's better with a strong heroine like Deuce!

Yes it is really whiny. And she takes really long pauses after commons and periods so it sounds like she sounds choppy. Then she seems to emphasizes things that don't need to be by making her voice higher. I had to read along with the preview on amazon to get used to the reader at first. It's better now though. I still like the story.

I just got to the part were Deuce went into Banner's living quarters. (view spoiler)[ She is hording!!! And Fade said she could trust her with whatever is going on! Something is definitely going on there! Now Fade doesn't trust her! (hide spoiler)] Sorry, I'm typing this as I'm listening to it, so I don't forget what I am excited about.
