A World Without Sun discussion

One bed in every room along with a small bathroom and a two way mirror covering the one wall.
This is where men come to breed with you.

Savannah entered the room nervously and sat on the bed cross legged.

"I swear I'm nineteen!-Really I am!" Laughing, Hunter ducked into the room and closed the door behind him. There sat Savannah on the bed with her legs crossed, she stared up at him with wide shocked eyes. Her eyes seemed familiar, actually everything about her seemed chillingly familiar now that he saw her in person. He racked his brain to know where he had once seen her but nothing came to mind, still she stared silently with her mouth open in shock. They stood in silence, frozen in their place until her small cracked voice broke the silence, "....Hunter?" He nodded, How did she know his name?
She began to shake and spoke in a raspy voice, "Wah- What are you- do- doing here?"
"Who are you?" Hunter asked uneasily.
She crawled off the bed and stood up to face him, she walked closer towards him, and closer, and closer. She reached up and touched his face, her touch was familiar and warm and right away he knew who she was but he couldn't believe it.
"Mum?"

Savannah stared at him with those identical blue eyes, they were the same height and he had grown up into a young man now. Slowly she nodded but it couldn't be true, she had been reunited with her son and yet she knew this wouldn't be allowed, after all those years she had trained herself not to feel anything for the boy, her mind became dizzy with confusion. Savannah wanted him to stay, she needed to explain everything. But she knew she couldn't and they didn't have long so she advanced on him with a curt voice, "Where are your parents?"
Hunter looked even more confused than she felt, "What parents?"
"Your mother and father, the ones that you grew up with."
"I have no parents that I know of well until now, I live in the Sanctum."
"What- no, that doesn't make sense, I-" Savannah ran her hands through her hair and sat down on the bed, her face frowned in thought.
Hunter sat down beside her and he looked at her in a soft expression, "Mum, what's going on?"
In that moment they looked so alike, their blue eyes shined in the dull room and their face shape was identical.
Savannah reached up and touched his face once again, "You never changed, you look like your father you know? More than him than me but we still resemble don't we?" She sighed and stared off into the space, "I'll tell you what happened, why you were born and why you're last name is Jacobstan, it is isn't? Well...."

It was confusing and yet it made sense, it all added up but Hunter didn't want to believe it. At the end of it Hunter put his head in between his knees in shock, he could have been in a family with loving parents and a home but that didn't happen, he would never see his father or other mother, he won't see the Jacobstan home instead he lives in the system.
After several minutes Savannah spoke again, "Hunter, you need to go. If they find out that we have met we are both goners, me more than you. You have to promise not to tell anyone, I mean it." She looked at him sternly, he went to stand up to leave but quickly she pulled his face towards her, "Hunter, I love you. Don't let this world change you."
He nodded and whispered back, "I love you to," she kissed him on the forehead and pulled away with tears in her eyes, "Go."
She walked away from him and waved her hand dismissively, he didn't want to leave but he willed himself to move his feet, to walk to the door and push it open, to take a step outside the room and to smile cheerfully at Rob and the guard. It made him feel sick, this whole system was sick, corrupt and cruel.
When she told him to never let the world change him he didn't understand but he knew he would, one day.
