I started this yesterday afternoon and finished it today. I couldn't put it down. What a conflict!!! I got to the point where I wasn't sure there was any way for this book to have a happy ending! Makes me wonder if I'm "breaking any rules" that will come back to haunt me. As horrible as the situation was, the characters all grew from the experience and the timing of events probably saved a few lives. I might have to read this again.

I am glad you liked it Melanie. I liked it too. I have to say there were many times when I just wanted the husband ( sorry can't remember character names) to be quiet and let his wife have a baby! But then when you see how distraught the real mother is, things change. I don't know what I would do in this situation! Either way it's a great book that gets you thinking.
