Samantha | 15 comments The book A Million Little Pieces by James Frey catches the attention of readers by starting the story off in his point of view he doesn't just point out where he is and who he's with. He goes into details where as its enough for the reader to be compelled and not bored. James Freys' story doesn't start off in a happy setting and to me that's brilliant. His life story makes you think, He makes it known that he made his mistakes and fixing them wasn't easy. He shows the reader right from wrong without even realizing it, that is the most interesting detail that pops from this story- no biography!!!- This made me feel as if i were there experiencing every piece of him.SamanthaP.10C

Sojourner | 23 comments The book i'm reading (iraqi girl), is filled with realism and memorable parts. Such as how the girl in the story is very brave and has to deal with allot of her hard life. Gun fire, bombs every day, her friends and family dying, she must have allot of frustration living in iraq. I would definitely read more of the authors books because of how eye-opening and important it was. IraqiGirl: Diary of a Teenage Girl in Iraq

It's based on greek mythology in modern day society and it follows the life of Percy Jackson the son of Poseidon, Annabeth the daughter of Athena and their friend Grover the satyr. Percy has to rescue his friend Annabeth who has been captured by The evil titan Lords second in command Atlas. message 7: by Eric (new)

Eric Rodriguez | 20 comments I would recommend the book "American Victory" because it teaches many lessons about life in general. One most memorable moment in the whole book was when Henry beat his final competitor in the Olympics. The reason why that is the most memorable moment is because that's when the goal of the subject is reached. That is when Henry accomplished one of the most biggest goals in his life. This memorable scene comes to show that skills of any kind can make a huge difference in someones life. It would definitely be a good idea to read any other one of his book (if he had) because they would most likely contain important lessons that would benefit a way of thinking. A lot of moments in the book stood out to me. If Henry published another book, I would like to read it. Its a good book. It puts a lot on your mind. It has good vocabulary. Its a very engaging book. It has pictures of his matches and old pics of when he was a child. The book has good wordplay. That is my review for the book "American Victory". http://www.henrycejudo.com/american-v...

Shianne Perez | 15 comments Book : Dear John

What was most memorable about this book was the bond between the two characters and the way they acted towards each other and the memories and love they shared . I wouldn't read other books by this author because the emotions and feelings in all the main characters never change just the plot does so the books aren't unique . I would rate this book a 5 out of 5 stars because this book is extremely emotional and is great if you want to read a love story .

What was most memorable about this book was it was perfectly realistic in every way and thats what kept pulling me back to read more . Sojourner | 23 comments The most memorable part of the book i'm reading now was when. One night the men are asked to return to their cell. They are given sleeping pills and awake the next morning very confused. And Nemo asks Aronnax to look at a crewman who has been severely injured. The man later dies and they bury him in an underground cemetery, where many other crewmen have been laid to rest. Eric Rodriguez | 20 comments The most memorable part in my book "The Legend of Alexandros: Belen" by Corey Hernandez is when Alexandros gets kidnapped by a goblin. That's one of my favorite parts because the discription that the author gave was very detailed and it made the event seem very brutal. I would definitally recommend this book to someone who is interested in fantasy like books. The book has a lot of things happening which makes it fun to read it. I would read more of his books and I plan to read them next. I would rate this book 5 stars for its engaging series of events and the use of words.

Sojourner | 23 comments The most memorable parts of Divergent are when Tris does all her crazy jumps. like the time she jumps of the building. Or the other time when Tris jumps out of the trian and runs when she's part of the Dauntless group doing all there things. But especially when she changes her name from Beatrice to Tris. She is also the main protagonist and narrator, which is also interesting. Yes, I would most defiantly read another book by Veronica Roth. Her books are very intense, mind opening and thrilling. Divergent

Eric Rodriguez | 20 comments The most memorable part in the book im reading "The Legend of Alexandros: Titans of chaos" by A.C. Hernandez was when the group met a new character known as "Grace" with an ally/pet dragon. In my opinion, I've always thought that introducing a new character to a story is most important. I would read more of Albert Corey Hernandez's books because they are engaging to read and awesome. I would definitally recommend this book to all.

Drew | 16 comments The book I'm reading is The Battle of the Labyrinth. It comes right after The Titans Curse in the series. It's also based on Greek mythology in modern day society. It's about Percy and his friends trying to find the god of nature Pan and trying to stop the titan lords army from using the labyrinth. In this book the Titan lord gets revived in a half blood body. In this book there is less action and Percy learns to use his powers a bit better. I would read other books by this author because of the action. I also like Greek mythology.

message 20: by Drew (new)

Drew | 16 comments The book I'm reading is The Last Olympian and it's right after The battle of the Labyrinth and is also the final book in the series. In this book Percy has to convince Hades to help in the final battle against the titan lord. Percy is also now 16 and has to make the biggest decision of his life. There is drama, action, loss, betrayal and sorrow. This book makes a good final for the series and is one of the bets books I've read so far. I would read other books by this author because I like the way he is able to fit the genres together in a book.

The most memorable part to me was how katniss and peeta would have to fake there relationship saying they love each other kissing on camera but when behind cameras they ignore each other, and then when the hunger games start they start to catch true feelings for each other and get emotional when certain things would happen to each other. Drew | 16 comments The book I'm reading is The Fellowship of the Ring. It mixes together the mid-evil times and mystical creatures. It's about a hobbit that knew nothing about the outside world. He and his friends were given the task of saving the world of man. I recommend the Lord of the Ring series because it has drama, action, loss, sorrow, anger and suspense all mixed together in 3 books.
