We wanted to create a new kind of book trailer -- one that was virtually indistinguishable from a real movie trailer, in terms of number of scenes and quality of filming. That way, viewers would watch the trailer and think it's a movie until the very end when they realize it's actually a book (but wish it was a movie too).

A director with a Sundance Film Festival background headed the project and used high quality camera equipment. Lots of people were involved in this project (mostly volunteer) and it felt like a lot to take on during a book launch, but we're glad that we did it.
Would love to hear your feedback!

Beautiful work on your trailer! Very high quality. Good camerawork, acting, music. Definitely closer to a movie trailer than a standard book trailer.

Sandra Farris | 237 comments Thank you, Joshua. I think so, too. I'm proud of everyone who worked on it and it was exciting being involved.
