Knowing how to describe appearances is important. In roleplays you just use pictures, but what happens when it's time to describe them? Writing a detailed appearance is best and will help you discover new things about your character.

Name: Katarina Blueriver

Appearance: Well muscled but not so much that she looks ugly, in fact, she's quite pretty in some ways. Oval shaped face. Medium sized thin fingers and hands. Quite a big nose (which she hates). Thick red lips.

Hair: Long brown hair, wavy, kept pinned up in a tight bun when fighting.

Eyes: Large and brown ((... what else can I say?))

Marks, scars, tattoos, piercings, fav necklace always wear?: Recently acquired scar on her left hip ((I think, I've forgotten already XD will check later)).

Style/fashion/stereotype: Clothing from around the Medieval days, long dresses, breeches, shirts, tunics, stuff like that. Katarina being a girl is expected to wear dresses, but she doesn't like them at all, especially since they get in the way.

Height: Short to medium size, about 5'2" ((At least I hope that's medium size, not actually sure :p))

Weight/fitness level: Very fit, she's knight, it's expected of her. Very strong, although not quite as strong as her male opponents so she uses a few tricks to beat them.

Name: Alexander of Rueland

Appearance: Well tanned skin, high cheekbones, long fingers, long everything actually, but still very strong.

Hair: Black hair, longish for a man.

Eyes: Dark brown (could be called mysterious)

Marks, scars, tattoos, piercings, fav necklace always wear?: None... yet. As I write about this character more I will think of something.

Style/fashion/stereotype: Wears white clothes usually, style of the Medieval times.

Height: Very tall ((What's a height for a very tall man, I'm not sure...?))

Weight/fitness level: Not very fit, but not unfit either. Thin and gangly, but as I said, very strong.
