A few years before the Titans breached Wall Maria, Mikasa appeared to be a cheerful, outgoing, yet unusually perceptive child. From an early age, Mikasa was aware of the harshness of nature, witnessing the manner in which predators would hunt and kill weaker prey. However, her innocence allowed her to push these thoughts to the back of her mind, and she continued to live happily with her 'parents'. This illusory peace was shattered when a band of criminals brutally murdered her parents before her eyes in a failed kidnapping attempt on herself and her mother. To save herself and her rescuer, Eren Yeager, Mikasa managed to abandon all inhibition and hesitation, allowing her to kill one of her assailants. Following this traumatic event, Mikasa would gain a generally cynical outlook on life and accept the world as a cruel place where only those who are strong are able to survive.
After the murder of her parents, Mikasa became noticeably emotionally withdrawn and serious, but she still loves and cares deeply for her friends, especially Eren and Armin, seeing them as the last remnants of a family she cannot afford to lose. Her personality as a teenager is very much influenced and molded by Eren, who told her she stood no chance of survival if she did not fight for it. His words continue to stay with her, and her mind automatically recalls them to spur her on when she is close to death. Her determination to protect Eren as much as possible may also have contributed greatly to her phenomenal skills as a soldier. Though she is among the best of the best, she remains humble and refrains from putting on airs or displaying arrogance.
Mikasa has a strong sense of right and wrong, but she is also very protective of Eren and does all she can to advise him to follow what she deems to be the right track. Despite that, she knows well that she cannot always sway Eren in his decisions and makes a point to follow Eren to almost everywhere he goes and stick by whatever final decisions he makes, just so that she can be around to help him out when he is in trouble. The sole reason she enlisted in the military and joined the Survey Corps after her graduation was to keep an eye on Eren, despite the fact that she truly wished to live out the rest of her days in relative peace within the Walls alongside him. She also takes Eren's opinion seriously, so much so that when he once said that her hair was too long, she immediately had it cut, even though Jean had just commented that it looked beautiful.
Despite all her blind loyalty, Mikasa is quite stoic and level-headed. Her will is remarkably strong, and she is rarely seen to lose her cool or be at a loss of what to do, no matter how bleak a situation seems to be. Even when she believed Eren to be dead, outwardly she managed to remain so calm that only Armin could tell that she was battling with the pain of losing Eren. However, she is not completely immune to the effects of her emotions. Her strong feelings for Eren, particularly when he is in harm's way, does at times cloud her judgement - sometimes to the endangerment of herself and others. A notable example is the occasion she briefly gave into her grief over Eren's apparent demise and lost the will to live - forgetting her responsibility for the lives of the soldiers she had taken upon herself to lead in the process.

[History:]
Mikasa was born to a European father and Asian mother. Before her parents' death, she lived peacefully with them in the farmlands of Wall Maria. Mikasa underwent a painful scarring ritual from her mother, whom cut into her skin the mark of their Asian clan. Being the last of their race made them high value targets to human traffickers, who killed Mikasa's parents and attempted to kidnap her for the purpose of selling her as a slave to the people in the royal court when she was only nine years old.
She was rescued by Eren, who tricked and killed two of the slavers. He was then overwhelmed by the third trafficker and was on the verge of being strangled. Desperately, Eren urged Mikasa to fight to win. Although she was initially frightened, she came to realize that, "This world is a callous and merciless place," dispatching the kidnapper who was trying to kill Eren. When Eren's father arrived with members of the Military Police Brigade, she was given the scarf by Eren and accepted into his family. This event awakened the fighting instincts and perfect self-control that would later turn her into a formidable soldier. She lived with Eren's family in Wall Maria's Shiganshina District until it was destroyed by the Colossal Titan. At that moment, the three kids, Armin, Eren and Mikasa witness the sudden appearance of a Colossal Titan that breaches Wall Maria. Mikasa and Eren run back to their home to find it crushed and their mother trapped under the debris. In spite of their attempts, Mikasa and Eren are unable to free her, One of their parents' close friends,Hannes, rescued them as a Titan devoured their mother. Mikasa and Eren were placed on a ship just as the Armored Titan broke through the inner gate, letting the Titans inside Wall Maria, witnessing Eren's vow to kill all the Titans as they are transported to safety. Once inside the safety of Wall Rose, Eren confronts a soldier from the army to ask what the cause of the Titans' sudden appearance was. The soilder told them that the Titans objective was to eliminate all humanity and wipe them of the face of the earth.
Five years later, Mikasa and Eren graduated the Army Academy as full fledged soldiers and joined the Recon Corps alongside their friends.

[Description:]Masashi is a natural born killer. Ever since he signed up for the Survey Corps, he's been cold-hearted and merciless in his training. But deep down Masashi is a huge sweetheart who loves people and wants to protect everyone he can. But since he's aware that he can't, he doesn't always try to save others if he knows there's no saving them. He hates Titans with a passion, due to one eating both of his parents. He will do anything in his power to make sure he gets rid of any Titans he sees. Masashi is very ruthless when he fights, and doesn't show any mercy towards his opponents. His natural talent in 3DMG and Swordsmanship is what makes him a battle genius, but he's not very good at strategizing.

[History:]Masashi was only a teenager when his parents had died. He was at the age of 13, while his younger sister, Yuuko, was 10. The walls had been breached by Titans. His house was right by the hole in the wall, and his parents were eaten almost immediately after the Titans had gotten in. Masashi and Yuuko, however, were lucky to have been found by a member of the Garrison. They were taken to Wall Rose, where they lived for the next year. That next year Masashi had turned 14, and he immediately signed up to join the Survey Corps. He was trained, and came out at the top of his class. He was a natural, and his hard efforts in the training had paid off well. When he finally had become a leader of his own squad at the age of 20, his sister, Yuuko, had also signed up, but for the Garrison. The two were now seperated, and with Masashi being a squad leader, he was busier than ever. He went on many missions outside the walls, and that was when he had been attacked by an Abberant. The killing of the Titan costed Masashi his right eye, and he now wears an eyepatch because of it. After he finally was given members for his squad, they began to call him Diablo because of how devilish Masashi acted, and how ruthless he was with Titans.

[Description:]Ivy is cute, adorable and innocent. She has a strange aura of innocence mixed with sinful intentions about her. She is malicious in an innocent way and she appears to others as a girl who doesn't really understand the true intentions behind what she says. But Ivy knows full well what she says and what she doesn't. This attitude makes her perfect for playing the part of the puppeteer, bending and moving the strings of everyone around her. What's more, hardly anyone even suspects her as being the sole cause behind a feud or fight. Ivy is also a slight teaser when it comes to people of the opposite sex. She is a sucker for lust, however love is 99.99% of the time unachievable. This is because she finds it hard to commit herself to anything. Ivy loves patterns, and spotting discrepancies between statements and could almost be described as a hobby, making it a bad idea to lie to an her. This makes it ironic that Ivy's word should always be taken with a grain of salt - it's not that she's dishonest, but people like her tend to share thoughts that are not fully developed, using others as a sounding board for ideas and theories in a debate against themselves rather than as actual conversation partners. Ivy may appear unreliable, but in reality no one is more enthusiastic and capable of spotting a problem, drilling through the endless factors and details that encompass the issue and developing a unique and viable solution than her - just don't expect punctual progress reports. She isn't interested in practical, day-to-day activities and maintenance, but when she finds an environment where her creative genius and potential can be expressed, there is no limit to the time and energy she will expend in developing an insightful and unbiased solution.
Ivy may appear to drift about in an unending daydream, but her thought process is unceasing, and her mind buzzes with ideas from the moment she wakes up. This constant thinking can have the effect of making her look pensive and detached, as she is often conducting full-fledged debates in her own head, but Ivy is quite relaxed and friendly when she is with people she knows, or who share their interests.

Ivy was 11 when the wall was breached. She'd been out with her little brother and older sister getting bread for their family when the Colossal Titan kicked the wall. Her sister had been cherished by the rubble and she and her brother had been blown away. They landed on the roof of a house and had both been knocked unconscious. She woke in the stomach of a Titan. She panicked and looked around at the blood bath and saw her brother's head bobbing around like a buoy. She screamed and was filled with immense anger. She couldn't die this way. She had to get revenge. Revenge on those bastards. For hurting her family. For killing her loved ones. She backed out and woke on a rooftop. In the neck of a dead titan. She fainted and was taken custody of by the Recon Corps. She was then informed that she had the ability to transfer into a Titan. Ivy decided to use this ability for her revenge and joined the Recon Corps and soon became a full fledged Scout. She then used a pendant to help her assume Titan form. She was approached by many men wanting to keep close to her and then use her powers to their advantage. Each one of them died looking down her gun barrel.
