Slammed discussion

**EDIT** I read hopeless (since it was cheaper) and once I get money I'm definitely reading slammed :) thanks for the feedback its been really helpful

This has been on my radar to read for a while *I read Reason to Breathe and its showed up on my amazon a lot and stuff* but before I decided to actually buy it and read it I was curious about a couple things:

I'm only 13..but i'm pretty mature *I think*...would I like it?

what exactly is slam poetry?

and

should I read colleen hoovers other book, Hopeless, before I read this? *for those of you who have read it and are looking at this post*

Slam poetry is explained int he novel. I think it's fine if you read it. I'm not a parent however there is no sex in this novel and would approve it for my younger cousins. Then again I think at times parents shields sex too much from their children. The relationship can be deemed as inappropriate but as long as you realize this is a novel you'll be fine.

You don't have to read Hopeless before this.

ok cool thanks :) I was kinda wondering about that since I read the sample and they are kind of older. It wouldn't worry me though...I've read books with sex in them before.

hopeless looked really good, I read the sample and fell in love so im ready to read both now as soon as I finish the stack of books on my bedside table lol

Definitely a must-read!. :) It is a very inspirational book and so heart warming. Lovely characters too that shape up the story just fine.

DEFINITELY! Slammed Series's been one of my top books to read! First I was like, okay I'll join the bandwagon since a lot of my schoolmates are reading it. But after reading a few chapters, I was like OMG this is book is amazing. Will super duper sweet and cute btw. ;) Slam poetry was first introduced to me in this book. A lot of significant quotes was also presented and it stuck inside my head for forever. :> Colleen Hoover's books are AMAZING. Try reading Hopeless too! But for me, read Slammed first. You can't compare the Slammed Series to Hopeless cause they really are 2 different stories! :"> The feels of the book makes the reader to fell love and be loved. :)

I would not advise anyone to read this book, it is slow paced and should not have been made int a series in the first place it just keeps repeating the same old stuff over and over again... Mxxxxm

In my opinion it wasn't like a big deal, but it was a nice reading. It was good :)

This is a good book as long as you dont mind the slower pace. I would highly recommend. :)
