We love stepback covers discussion

Hi! I'm looking for a book I read a few years ago, and all I can remember about it is the cover. I know it had a stepback, so maybe you all can help?

It was a historical romance set somewhere in the UK (I think England), and it was one of those covers with a hole in the middle showing a bit of the stepback. Through the hole you could just see the man and the woman. I'm pretty sure the cover was yellow. The book wasn't the newest (I got it from the library about four years ago).

Please let me know if this sounds familiar or if you can help!

Gosh Emma this might be a tough find, as a lot of those older books had a "window" with the man & woman showing. :(
III search threw my shelves and maybe someone else here can narrow it down as well.

Thank you so much! I know it's a tricky one. I'm desperately trying to remember the plot...I'm pretty sure the woman was a virgin on her wedding night (though that doesn't really help hugely). And I don't think the man was from England (somewhere further south, maybe? Or maybe just tanned). Sorry I can't remember more :(
