Kayla (kaylawhata) | 55 comments So, our non-fiction collection gets some of the lowest usage in the entire library (about 0.09% of total checkouts). What do you all think of the idea of leaving the YA stickers on, but interfiling them in the Adult NF collection? That would free up the bookcase for more books. Not sure what we would move to its place.

Frances (frankie1199) | 28 comments Yeah, I know I for one never use the YA non-fiction section.

Kayla (kaylawhata) | 55 comments My only reason for keeping them separate is some of the titles are part of "teen series" and deal with topics that teens might want privacy with (body issues, health, birth control)

Frances (frankie1199) | 28 comments It's true, but I for one would never check out a library book on that kind of issue.I think it's much more natural for teens to go to a friend, parent, or teacher they are close with to get more personal advice.

Riven (ravenismaven) | 63 comments I think moving the books is a good idea, but we should make a list of the Nonfiction books in the folder that has lists of 'Fantasy' 'Supernatural' books etc. and say that they are all in the Adult section so teens that actually want to read them can find them.
