She is a little vague about how she speeds up making the candle and then mere hours later Elodin shows up to Kvothe's dinner with Auri. It makes me wonder, is she a namer and did Elodin come to investigate? I feel like this is a weak link. What do you think?

Also I wonder if she is princess Ariel that Kvothe talks about.After all everyone who goes to the university are rich. And of the major characters about half are of the nobility
I definitely get the sense that Auri is a namer... literally half of what she does in this books is name stuff lol And like you said, Elodin has taken an interest in her. I think she's a namer and like one of the characters say in one of the books (I don't remember who), the practice of magic has driven many people mad.
