I tried Manhattan Dreaming which is one of Anita Heiss's fiction books. It didn't really do it for me though I guess because I am not much of a chick lit fan. I mean to try Am I Black Enough For You? some time soon though.

I really want to read Am I black enough for you- I saw her speaking at a writers convention and she is incredible with words. Yeah I don't cotton much to chic-lit either. There's the occasional exception
