Name: Augusta Hannah “Gusty” Longbottom
Nickname: She goes by Gusty.
Age: Usually I think of her as in her early teens.
Year: See above.
Birthday: It is July 17th.
Gender: Gusty is female.
Nationality: Gusty is English.
Wand: Gusty's wand is twelve inches, made from English oak, it has a unicorn hair core, and it's fairly unyielding—but, if one perseveres through slowly bending harder, it will relent and curve.
House: Gusty is in Hufflepuff house—though, she could also be in Gryffindor, it depends on the role-play (say the characters needed to be in certain houses). As her father (but for different reasons), she was nearly a hatstall between Hufflepuff and Gryffindor.
Broomstick (second year and up): She prefers staying on the ground.
Quidditch: See above.
Pet: A small, male black cat named Night Dance, who has the nickname Dancer.
Blood Status: Gusty is a half-blood.
Immediate Family: Her parents are Professor Neville Longbottom and Hannah Longbottom (née Abbott).
Appearance: Gusty has somewhat tanned skin due to her being outside so often, and course blond hair that goes to her hips when down—but it's usually done up somehow: braided; in a pony-tail; anything, really. A favorite style of hers is a braid that has been wrapped around the top of her head, resulting in it looking something like a crown or a thick circlet. Her eyes are a soft, deep brown and often show how she feels. She still has some baby fat clinging on—in this way she looks about as her father did at her age, somewhat thinner. Gusty has strong, somewhat calloused hands—still, her hands are gentle, and can handle even the most fragile blooms.
Personality: Gusty is prone to mumbling around those she doesn't know well; one of the reasons she can be quite shy. Her self-esteem can dip quite low, but with enough comfort and encouragement, she will become convinced that she is a worthwhile person. She will cry easily, and burst into tears if she is frustrated or sad enough. She'll go pink if embarrassed, which can happen often. If one has been able to befriend her, Gusty will become much more easy-going, more prone to laugh, and more open to sharing her thoughts and feelings. Gusty is fiercely loyal to friends and family, fears losing loved ones, and would be willing to risk and/or give her life for someone who is innocent—even someone who isn't, if she feels s/he deserves a second chance. She will stand up to bullies, but she is often the new target and comes out of the encounter feeling depressed. Gusty is not one to turn away from “gross” things, and will often get closer to study something—especially if said thing is a plant.
Mirror of Erised: She is standing with her family and friends, everyone healthy and happy and whole. Gusty is grown and standing with her hand in a handsome man's, though she cannot make out exactly what he looks like. There are children resembling herself somewhat in front of the pair, though she can make out neither exactly what they look like, as with the man, nor exactly how many there are.
Patronus: It's a Dwarf Brocket doe.
Boggart: The deaths and pain of loved ones, then the deaths and pain of any people.
Favorite Subject: Herbology, though she quite likes Defense Against the Dark Arts and also Care of Magical Creatures.
Hobbies: Gusty likes to read, and quite likes to study wandlore. She loves gardening, and will spend much of her free time helping her Herbology professor (her father) in the greenhouses, and will go to Hagrid's to help him there—with gardening and magical creatures. When she's at home she'll go around exploring.
Other: She hopes to apprentice under Garrick Ollivander and be a wand-maker someday, if she can't do something involving plants (she also knows she will probably inherit the inn her parents own, the Leaky Cauldron). She will, if nothing else, have a family and take care of it—this is above anything else she wants to do. She has decided never to cut her hair, and she is left-handed.

Name: She calls herself “Bridget River Skeeter”, even though her real name is “Bridget (NMN) River”. Obviously, she prefers the surname “Skeeter” to “River”, but she still opted to keep “River” as a part of her name.
Nickname: Bridget doesn't like being nicknamed.
Age: Usually I think of her as being in her mid-teens.
Year: See above.
Birthday: It's May thirtieth.
Gender: Bridget is female.
Nationality: Bridget is at least half English—her father was from London.
Wand: Bridget's wand is thirteen inches long, it's of fir, it has a dragon heartstring core, and it's somewhat swishy.
House: Bridget is in Slytherin house.
Broomstick (second year and up): She doesn't own one.
Quidditch: No, but she's a big fan and cheers her house's team on quite loudly.
Pet: Bridget owns a female tawny owl, named Mouse.
Blood Status: Half-blood (her father was a Muggle).
Immediate Family: Rita Skeeter (she retook her maiden name after she was left by her husband) and Joe River.
Appearance: Bridget has blond hair that just reaches her shoulder blades, that's mostly straight but with a slight flip to the left at the ends, light skin, and piercing emerald green eyes. Her bottom lip is slightly larger than her top lip, and both are light pearl pink, due to her water-proof lip-stick. She is an average height and weight for her age, she has thin, dark brown eyebrows that are well-kept, and nails painted in an alternating pattern of a green matching her eyes, and a glittery silver. Her ears are pierced, once on each lobe, and she usually has a particular pair of small earrings on; the earrings are one green and one silver snake, in gentle slithering positions (they actually make slithering motions when they sense magic), with the green on the right, and the silver on the left—the green snake has silver eyes, and the silver snake has green.
Personality: Bridget is an extremely nosy girl, and the word “subtlety” is only in her vocabulary when it suits her needs. She's a gossip, and spreads a few rumors that she makes up from time to time to get revenge on whomever had the highly regrettable idea to get on her bad side. She's proud, but a bit of a coward, and will do whatever necessary to stay away from danger or getting caught. Her sense of self-preservation is quite developed, and she fears death above all else. However, even with her faults, she's still a fast learner, she is a persistent, creative, clever girl, and she is quite skilled in the art of writing. Bridget does tend to exaggerate and twist facts, though—she learned that from her mother. She is resourceful, and very good at finding out what she wants to. She's reluctant to reveal anything about herself, but she'll occasionally let someone in, if she finds the person trustworthy (it doesn't happen terribly often). If on good terms with Bridget, she is a fairly pleasant person to be around—that is, if one is fine with having personal questions asked and risking them becoming widely known on a regular basis.
Mirror of Erised: It's her and her family, standing in front of a clothing boutique that she owns and manages. She's holding a best-seller book she wrote in her left hand.
Patronus: It's a raccoon.
Boggart: Death is the shape her boggart takes.
Favorite Subject: She is skilled at and favors Transfiguration.
Hobbies: Bridget is a writer, and she likes to gossip; the latter pastime can sometimes be a generous source of—usually unreliable—information. She has interest in fashion, and likes to design clothing—thus her art and a few other skills are fair, too.
Other: Her father left her and her mother shortly after they realized that Rita was pregnant. Bridget wasn't told much about her father; all she knows is his name and has seen a few photos of him. She resolved to, once finished with her education, seek out her father—the main goal of the quest remains unknown for the time being. Bridget is also a talented duelist, but she very rarely feels the need to fight with magic—aside from the fact that she is afraid of being bested or—the horror—hurt, her virtually-untraceable rumor-spreading skills, as mentioned before, are often quite enough already. Bridget owns a favorite white dove feather quill (it's been magically lengthened).

Name: Mercy Apolline Weasley
Nickname: Sometimes, by friends and family, she is endearingly or teasingly called “Merci”, and she is also occasionally called Mer.
Age: It kind of depends on my mood, really. Usually early to mid-teens.
Year: See above.
Birthday: Mercy's birthday is August twenty-fifth.
Gender: Mercy is female.
Nationality: Mercy is half English, half French.
Wand: Mercy's wand is thirteen and three-quarter inches, it's of black walnut, it has a unicorn tail hair core, and it is slightly springy.
House: Mercy is in Gryffindor house.
Broomstick (second year and up): Mercy owns a Nimbus 2000 (if older than first year).
Quidditch: She's a seeker, or if need be, a chaser.
Pet: Mercy has a large, male silver tabby cat named Jacques-Thom.
Blood Status: She is one-eighth veela, and is at least a half-blood.
Immediate Family: Her father is William Arthur “Bill” Weasley, and her mother is Fleur Isabelle Weasley (née Delacour). She also has three siblings; Victoirie; Dominique; and Louis Weasley.
Appearance: One of the first things that people notice about Mercy is that she is quite beautiful, taking greatly after her mother in appearance, and a bit after her father and his family. In fact, she looks almost exactly like her mother, but for her large, soft brown eyes that look a lot like her paternal aunt's and grandmother's. Her hair is a sun-bleached blond that reaches her elbows when down, her skin is very light, and she's fairly tall and slender—but, she does have some muscle on her graceful appendages, due to her constant activity.
Personality: Mercy is a kind-hearted person who hates seeing others suffer, and, even if she has reason to, will usually keep herself from hurting others, thus living up to her name's meaning. She is often smiling brightly, she is very loving, and she nearly always sees the bright side of things. She has a serious side, but, unless she or others are in danger, or some other thing is happening where it's best that she is serious, her more happy side is shown. Mercy also is very firm when it comes to standards and rules, and will often speak up if people are doing or talking about things that go against the rules—unless special action needs to be taken (Umbridge, anyone?). She's quite brave, fearing little, extremely loyal, confident, and sincere. She isn't afraid to stand up if there's injustice around.
Mirror of Erised: Mercy is holding the Quidditch Cup, with her family and friends around her, smiling, and there's a look—on everyone—that all is right in the world.
Patronus: It's a Morgan mare.
Boggart: Unforgivable Curses being used on others.
Favorite Subject: Mercy greatly enjoys Charms, and, not to mention, is quite good at it—one of the top of her class.
Hobbies: Mercy quite likes wizard chess, she practices magic often, and she likes to run and swim, too. One of her favorite things to do is fly on her broomstick and play Quidditch.
Other: Mercy speaks in French to her mother and maternal extended family, and English to just about everyone else. Sometimes, if she's either distracted or excited about something, she'll randomly switch between French and English.

A couple quick notes about this character. Sora was not based in part off of Harry Potter; his Muggle version was made first. Sora's twin sister, Alison, is a character I plan to make. Last is that Sora was a collaboration of sorts between my brother and myself—my brother and I interpreted Sora differently, so this is the version of him I kept.
Name: Sora Jonathan Gilt
Nickname: Nope, he doesn't have one.
Age: I think of him as in his mid-to-late teens.
Year: See above.
Birthday: It's May twenty-eighth.
Gender: Sora is male.
Nationality: Sora is English.
Wand: It's of Maple wood, has a dragon heartstring core, it's twelve and one half inches in length, and it is springy.
House: Sora is a Gryffindor.
Broomstick (second year and up): For the first three years of his schooling, Sora merely rode on the school brooms. Just before the start of his fourth year, however, his parents bought him a Cleansweep Thirteen.
Quidditch: Yes, he's a Keeper—he joined the team in his second year.
Pet: A Common Barn Owl, named Sir Bluu-Cheese MacCrackre; Bluu or Sir Bluu for short.
Blood Status: Sora is Muggle-born.
Immediate Family: His father is called Jonathan “Jon” and his mother is Grace (née Siltwater). He has two blood-related brothers (twins), Jordan and Joshua “Josh”; an adopted brother, Jacob; and a twin sister, Alison “Alis”. Jon works as a volunteer fireman for a nearby-to-home small town, and his regular job is on a farm his family owns.
Appearance: Sora has inky black hair, bed-head style and slightly longer than most boys'. His skin is redish-olive, thanks to him being half Cherokee, and his eyes are a rather dark emerald green and a little larger than is normal. He is tall for his age, usually everyone else in his year is about two inches or so shorter than him. He has dark freckles on his cheeks and nose, and his face has a bit of a haughty look—it contrasts oddly but nicely with the fact that he is usually grinning. His nose is very slightly turned up, and it's small, like his mother's.
Personality: Sora is quite suited to his house—brave and daring, on occasion a little hot-headed and ever-so-slightly proud, generally good-natured and chivalrous, and a bit show-off-ish. He is courageous, but he is also willing to take sometimes-unnecessary risks. He cannot bear to turn down a challenge or lose, nor have is reputation insulted, so he will accept almost any challenge that comes his way—this can be both a blessing and a curse, as he could tackle trials that perhaps not many could, but he also has an equal chance of charging head-first into situations best left avoided or overcome with help from the mind. He can take a friendly jab now and again, but be warned of what comes to those who go too far. He is usually in a good mood, and he likes to laugh—it is often that he is seen with a grin on his face. He perhaps is not as studious as those in Ravenclaw, but he appreciates the effort that his parents made to get him and his sister here, and thus works hard in his studies accordingly.
Mirror of Erised: Sora is standing with friends—those whom he believes suit the definition of “true friends”: friends that would stand with him in his goals and decisions no matter what (true friends are not likely to support bad goals or decisions, thus Sora is mistaken in his idea of true friendship). In one of his pockets is also a heavy money bag (this signals that he might like a bit of power and luxury).
Patronus: Sora's Patronus takes the shape of a longhorn bull.
Boggart: A boggart, when one meets him, takes the form of Sora as a coward. Sora knows that inside each of us there are things to be defeated, but what he fears more than any of the other faults is not having the strength to face and conquer them.
Favorite Subject: Sora's favorite subject is probably Defense Against the Dark Arts, followed by Transfiguration. He likes the idea of potion-making and the study of it, but in practice he cannot stand it, for it requires often patience and utmost attentiveness—unfortunately, Sora is lacking much in the former and also some in the latter.
Hobbies: If he is not on the Quidditch pitch, Sora is likely to be found playing small, harmless pranks on others, or playing loud games like Exploding Snap. He can also be found joking around with his friends or eating something (sometimes both at the same time).
Other: Sora has a bit of a friendly rivalry with his twin sister, Alis. They are constantly trying to top one another. Alis also is very fond of Bluu, which annoys Sora to no end—Bluu, however, greatly enjoys the extra attention.
