No one knows. I swear I'll hunt PJ down and make him pay if it's either of them. Plus, she's not even in the book. AND PJ said he thought that the Hobbit needed more female characters. I guess so it would draw in more girls--LIKE WE NEED THAT!!! We freaking think the Hobbit is awesome without any pretty little elf lady in there trying to snatch our Legolas or our Kili. No way.

Ok, ok, ok. So today, I was at my friends house, and her older sister (who is also my friend) and her boyfriend were there, and we were watching YouTube. Then the commercial that played at the beginning was desolation of smaug, and the little as in the corner was for the extended edition of an unexpected journey!!! I got so excited, but didn't start totally feeling out. Then my friend and her sister looked at each other. Then the older sister looked at me and was like: go ahead, meli. Then I started screaming and fangirling, and being super excited, and her boyfriend was staring at me like I was a weirdo, and the two of them were just like: it's okay. That's just meli. She gets excited sometimes.

Sure you've got boomerang hammers and giants made of rock, not to talk of the copious amounts of fanservice as far as the eponymous hero goes, not even mentioning the popularity Loki being in it probably lends but on the other hand you've got epic quests to the corners of the land to save it. Hobbits! No less than Hobbits! elves, dwarves, cities carven from the hearts of mountains.
