Mack's House
Melly nodded and kept driving. She drove down his road and when he pointed out what house was his, she pulled into the driveway and parked. She loosened her grip on the wheel and looked at him, "you think you can make it inside from here? It do you need an escort?" She asked, half kidding.
She giggled, "I hope your house isn't locked, because I have your keychain-paper-wait," she joked and pulled the keys out of the ignition. She got out if the truck and walked around to his door. She watched him for a moment, then held out his keys, "I can walk home," she insisted with a smile.
Nelly bit her lip, "but..." She looked at the trick, "I only have my G1.. I can't drive without a full G driver..." She felt slightly ashamed. She looked back at him, "do here," she took his hand and dropped the keys in it.
Melly rolled her eyes, "yes dad," she teased and pulled out her phone. She shivered slightly as a cool breeze nipped at her skin, then dialed her father's number.
Melly waited for her dad to pick up. It took a bit but he answered, "hey Mell-Mell, what's up?" His voice was slightly slurred.
"Can you come pick me up? I drove a friend home and he doesn't want me walking back, can you come get me?" She asked, placing a hand on her hip as she spoke.
"Ummmm....." There was a female voice in the background asking for another drink, "I'm working and I drank a bit.. I could see if Chloe could pick you up, but that won't be until she's off work."
Melly sighed, "alright, thanks daddy." She hung up the phone and sat next to Mack.

Melly nodded, "your stuck with me for a couple hours though," she sighed lightly and looked up at his house, "holly big house."
((Back))
Melly hugged herself and thought maybe shorts and a tank top weeny the best outfit choice for today. The breeze lifted strands if hair and carried them over her face.

Melly looked at the warm house, "I don't want to be a bother..." She whispered as she rubbed her arms.
Melly nodded in agreement, not reminding him that she had insisted on it, "okay," she fallowed him up to the door and looked at the keys in his hand, "do you know what key it is?" She teased.
Melly giggled, "then open the door, it's cold out here," she stuck her tongue out at him in return.
Melly giggled, "wow," she shook her head at herself and unlocked the door, then gestured him inside, "after you."
Nelly nodded and fallowed him inside. She closed the door behind her and set the keys on a small table by the door. She glanced around the doorway and was amazed, "wow, it's beautiful in here."
"No thanks," she shook her head a little and sat on a chair. She crossed her legs and looked around more, amazed by how clean everything was, "do you live here alone?" She asked.
Guilt filled Melly's chest, "I'm sorry... I.. I wouldn't have asked if I new..." She looked down at the floor.
Melly giggled and went to sit next to him. She touched his face lightly, "do you want some Advil?" She offered sweetly.
Melly nodded and went into the kitchen to get the Advil and a glass of water. She came back and sat next to him again, "here you go," she smiled and held out the bottle and a glass of water.
Melly took the now empty glass and Advil bottle and sat them on the table, "nope, just really good at helping with head achs," she smiled softly, "try massaging your temples, that usually works."
Melly blushed slightly when he winked at her, "oh? And what would that be?" She asked in an over curious tone, moving a bit closer to him.
Melly arched an eyebrow, "I am? Since when? Why am I the last to hear about these things?" She asked in a joking tone.
Melly shook her head, "I skip school," she corrected with a smirk then looked him over, "and it usually helps if the drunk guy is cute," she told him, blushing more.
Melly blushed bright red, "umm.." She tried to think of something to say, "you should drink more water so you don't get sick!" She told him, hopping to change the subject, "I'll go get you some!"
Melly dashed into the kitchen with his cup in her hand, she filled it with water and walked back to him. She sat down again and wondered if he was drunk enough to forget what she had just said, "here you go."
Nelly looked over his face, "you can't sleep.. What am I going to do?" She asked sadly. She brought her face closer to his and kissed him softly, in hopes of waking him up.
Melly held up the water as if she hadn't just kissed him, "you need to drink this before you sleep," she told him softly.
Melly looked at him funny, "nope, I don't think so, you'll have to re-jog my memory," she smiled shyly.
Melly heart jumped slightly. She placed her hand on his face gently and deepened the kiss. She wondered if this was actually him kissing her, or the beer.
Melly pulled herself closer, but didn't want to startle him so she kept some distance. She ran her hand from his face then threw his hair.
Melly wrapped her arms around the back of his neck and ran her hands over his back. Her heart raced as she thought about where this could lead. Did she want that? did they have time? did he want that? what if he regretted it after the beer wore off?
Melly gasped for air slightly and got all her answers; he wasn't ready, it was the beer, and he already regretted it. "I-I'm sorry.." she whispered and she pulled her knees up to her chest, causing her to be sitting in a ball.
Melly smiled and leaned forward and kissed him softly, "I'm glade," she whispered against his lips.
Melly snuggled up to him and closed her eyes, she wouldn't mind if Chloe didn't come to pick her up.
Melly hadn't realized how tired she was until now. She could feel herself slowly falling asleep. Then, she was out.
Melly looked at the door tiredly and ground. She crawled over Mack and rushed over to the door, her legs slightly wobbly. She opened the door and was surprised to see her dad driving. She went back to the couch and kissed Mack softly, "see you at dinner?" She asked softly.
Melly nodded, "I will," she whispered tiredly then ran outside, closing the door behind her. She went up to the car and raised an eyebrow, "I thought you had been drinking?" She asked.
He nodded and got out, "your driving."
Melly sighed and got behind the wheel, wishing she wasn't so tired. Then drove home.

Melly waited until the truck was parked before getting out and running up to the front door and waiting to go inside.
Melly kissed his cheek and headed to the kitchen to make dinner, "you better like it, or I'll cry," she teased.
The water boiled and she put in the noodles. After a little longer food was ready and she made their plaits. She walked into the living room and smiled at how tired he seamed. She set both plates on the table and touched his face gently, "hey," she whispered, "aren't you hungry?"
