Loved that book. Just finished Home and enjoyed that one as well but not as much as Gilead. Marilynne Robinson. I'm currently waiting to read Lila and I think that should be an interesting take on the story.

It is a novel without chapters, written as a letter from a dying father to his son. It draws you in to the story of an ordinary man living in small town America. There are no huge plot twists, but you find yourself reading because you want to know more about the characters and their lives. Worth a read.
