I definitely fell in love with the writing after reading the first few chapters. Ahdieh's style is very lyrical and atmospheric. The book feels just like an Arabian fairy tale.
Agreed, it's very beautiful writing. I can picture the world very richly. I enjoyed how it just jumped right in. A lot of books spend 50% of the book just with back story. I'm really enjoying this read so far. However, I do wish they had like a glossary for the official titles, thee have been a few parts where they were using the title and/or salutation and I didn't know who they were talking about. It eventually made sense but would be nice to know what the titles meant.
