Eve (evilous) | 44 comments OMG first can we just say that Baghra could tell there was something special abut Mal! Maybe this is what we all think. There is something inside of him too!!!!

Also I loved that they finally talked. It hurt so much but OMG they both want something more and he has finally come into his own and I think he can handle it now but knows he can't offer her what she needs to save Ravik. Such a sad sweet moment. I am starting to root for them again. But I also adore Nik.

Speaking of Nik...he gave his word to kill her. Mal did once as well but he wasn't able to do it. I think Nik would. Which could also be a point for them. As much as I like Nik and could see him and Alina working I think he will always put his people first, which a ruler should do but at the same time I think every girl wants someone who will put them first (not to the detriment of the people) but still. Anywho random talking now.

Also about Nik...I love that he stood up to his father. That Genya faced him and they won a small battle. She used her body as a weapon. I know I was undecided through all of last book about if I could forgive her character but this totally sealed any lingering doubts. Awe and David finally spoke and his words were so true and poetic for someone who is so blind sometimes. Also her parting words, ummm yeah. I loved how Nik spoke about the law and how rank doesn't keep you from them. It was powerful and true and shows the type of man he will be.

No back tracking a little I love their new hide away. I love his different ideas and how they are so creative and use the most of what he has. Mostly I love how his machines use normal humans and Grisha working together.

I'm excited for more.
