Hey, if one side of your mouth doesn't go up, that's not wrong! Some of my smiles are just halfway-crooked things. I have different smiles, yes. Hell, some people I know think crooked smiles are really appealing.

I once saw an ad on Youtube. Being bored me, I chose to watch it, which I usually don't do. Don't ask me why.
In it, people were asked to describe themselves to an artist. The artist could not see them. He simply drew from their descriptions.
Then, all these people who did not know each other were asked to talk about each other. Describe another person to the artist.
The two finished pictures were compared.
The picture described by the person himself/herself was full of flaws.
The picture described by another stranger was full of beauty.

We perceive ourselves worse than others. We're used to seeing our flaws, not our beauties. I know it's hard to look past the imperfections. But keep in mind - people don't always see you the way you see yourself.
