Thanks for the post. Interesting list from which I've read about 50 to 60 and probably remember in any appreciable detail, oh, about 5 or 6. (slight exaggeration but I'm in the midst of re-reading a number of classics that I haven't thought about in ages. So far, it's fascinating how a fella's perceptions change through the years.)

"SF Masterworks is a series of science fiction books published by Orion Publishing Group through it's imprints Millennium and Gollancz. Beginning in 1999 the list is made up of select science-fiction books from as far back as the H.G. Wells. Malcolm Edwards, managing director with Orion, created the list with the goal of bringing important books back into print."
