Mock Newbery 2026 discussion

Someone expressed frustration about newly released books being chosen as our read of the month. Since The Real Boy has a commanding lead in the October Poll and it was released today, I wanted to let you know that the Kindle version is only $4.99. This was a nice surprise for me because it was around $11 when I preordered it. It is probably a one-day thing, so I'd jump on it if you want to get it for that price. If you don't have a Kindle, there is an app for IOS devices and the computer. There is also a Cloud Reader that you can access through FireFox and Google Chrome. Hope this was helpful.

Thanks for letting us know about this. I just checked and B&N is offering the same opportunity for those of us with a Nook product. It really is a good price!
