Name: Mary Julianna “Shepherdess” Siltwater
Nickname: She goes by Shepherdess.
Age: Shepherdess is six and a half years of age.
Birthday: September fifth, 2007.
Gender: She is female.
Appearance: Shepherdess, to start, has very light, sun-kissed, blond, loose curls that reach a bit past her shoulders, bright blue eyes, and fair skin, giving her the exact sort of look one pictures when thinking of someone with her personality. She has small, pale freckles dotting the area of her cheekbones closest to her eyes that she gained from being in the sun. Shepherdess is ever-so-slightly chubby due to the baby fat that still clings on—instead of making her look fat, though, it enhances her child's appearance. She is around average height for her age. Sometimes her hair is done up and sometimes it's down—it really depends upon her mother's mood.
Apparel: Shepherdess is often seen dressed in denim over-alls with a white shirt beneath and leather cowboy boots. For special occasions, she'll wear a dress, usually with light, cheery colors and patterns.
Personality: Shepherdess would like to be—as her nickname so obviously suggests—a shepherdess when she grows up—actually, she thinks she is one now. She has a curious tendency to think that goats are sheep. When told otherwise, she'll become pitying and slightly exasperated at the fact that these poor, mistaken people telling her wrongly that goats are goats and not sheep. She will start trying to gently help them to see the truth that “goats” simply do not exist and are actually special breeds of wool-less sheep. As one might guess, Shepherdess is a sweet but stubborn little girl. Shepherdess is often quite cheerful and can be seen beaming at many.
Pet: Her family has a female, middle-aged, and calm Shetland Sheepdog named Maxie, who seems to like Shepherdess more than most others (on occasion, Maxie will act suddenly youthful, and play heartily, nipping at heels and wagging her tail with unusual gusto—the next day often has Maxie lying in her basket, looking slightly doleful, due to the fact that her joints feel much stiffer then they did twenty-four hours ago—they are not painful, though, thankfully). And, to be honest, Shepherdess also thinks all of the milk goats and their kids are her pets too—she doesn't like the billies, though, they're too rowdy and fairly disgusting in her opinion.
Family: Shepherdess's father, Darrell, age forty, and her mother, Beverly “Bev”, age forty-one. Then there are her siblings: Julian, age seventeen; Bethany, age sixteen; Philip, age fifteen; Dagan, age twelve; Devon, age nine; Lucy, age seven; and Shepherdess's younger brother, Dalton, age four.
Other: Shepherdess's hero is Little Bo Peep—the nursery rhyme is her favorite and she insists upon hearing it every night before she goes to sleep, along with all of the other times throughout the day she has it said to her and she repeats. She “owns” a plastic shepherd's crook encased in a very soft and thick oak-colored cloth (to ensure no injuries are sustained), which she mainly carries around so to have the enhanced appearance of what she wishes to be.
Fun fact: This is the description of one of the first pictures of her that I had in my mind: she is in a meadow of clovers (the tallish kind with colorful tops, not the three- and four-leaf variety) and other tall grasses and wildflowers, surrounded by grazing goats with Maxie at her side. One goat is walking towards her to see if she has any food, and bees buzz around the clover and flowers. Shepherdess is wearing a sunbonnet, a little-girl-style, old-fashioned dress (I'm thinking very, very late eighteen hundreds). The clothes have light, floral accents, with a pale, muted blue as the base. She's holding her shepherd's crook, looking at the goat, and exclaiming gleefully, holding out her free arm in a half-attempt to keep it from potentially knocking her over.

This is Gusty's Muggle version. ^-^
Name: Augusta Hannah “Gusty” Longbottom
Nickname: She goes by Gusty.
Age: Usually I think of her as in her early teens.
Birthday: It is July 17th.
Gender: Gusty is female.
Nationality: Gusty is British.
Pet: A small, male black cat named Night Dance, who is nicknamed Dancer.
Immediate Family: Her parents are Professor Neville Longbottom and Hannah Longbottom (née Abbott). They own an inn called the Dripping Pot; Hannah manages the inn, and Neville is a professor (more specifically, the botany professor) at a local private school that Gusty attends.
Appearance: Gusty has somewhat tanned skin due to her being outside so often, and course blond hair that goes to her hips when down—but it's usually done up somehow: braided; in a pony-tail; anything, really. A favorite style of hers is a braid that has been wrapped around the top of her head, resulting in it looking something like a crown or a thick circlet. Her eyes are a soft, deep brown and often show how she feels. She still has some baby fat clinging on—in this way she looks about as her father did at her age, somewhat thinner. Gusty has strong, somewhat calloused hands—still, her hands are gentle, and can handle even the most fragile blooms.
Personality: Gusty is prone to mumbling around those she doesn't know well; one of the reasons she can be quite shy. Her self-esteem can dip quite low, but with enough comfort and encouragement, she will become convinced that she is a worthwhile person. She will cry easily, and burst into tears if she is frustrated or sad enough. She'll go pink if embarrassed, which can happen often. If one has been able to befriend her, Gusty will become much more easy-going, more prone to laugh, and more open to sharing her thoughts and feelings. Gusty is fiercely loyal to friends and family, fears losing loved ones, and would be willing to risk and/or give her life for someone who is innocent—even someone who isn't, if she feels s/he deserves a second chance. She will stand up to bullies, but she is often the new target and comes out of the encounter feeling depressed. Gusty is not one to turn away from “gross” things, and will often get closer to study something—especially if said thing is a plant.
Greatest Desire (it's portrayed as if a scene): She is standing with her family and friends, everyone healthy and happy and whole. Gusty is grown and standing with her hand in a handsome man's, though she cannot make out exactly what he looks like. There are children resembling herself somewhat in front of the pair, though she can make out neither exactly what they look like, as with the man, nor exactly how many there are.
Greatest Fear: The deaths and pain of loved ones, then the deaths and pain of any people.
Dream Job: She hopes to be able to do something involving plants (she also knows she will probably inherit the inn her parents own). She will, if nothing else, have a family and take care of it—this is above anything else she wants to do.
Favorite Subject of Study: Botany, though she quite likes her Tae Kwon Do lessons and also likes to learn about and interact with animals.
Hobbies: Gusty likes to read, especially about fairy tales and witches and wizards. She loves gardening, and she will spend much of her free time helping her father with his garden at home. When she's at home she'll also go around exploring.
Other: She has vowed never to cut her hair, and she is left-handed.
