This book will be selected from an open nomination process. Any book may be nominated as long as it meets the group's BOTM nomination criteria*.

The Theme for November is Science Fiction

The first 10 books that have second and third nominations will be eligible for being voted on by the membership via a poll.

The book with the highest amount of votes will be one of our Books of the Months.

*BOTM Nomination Criteria:

All books nominated must be listed in our group under our ARR Program or have been listed in the past under Completed ARR Books.

Please do NOT nominate a book that is part of a series unless it is the first book (at the moderator's discretion)

Nominated books should not have recently been a BOTM.
You should check the Book of the Month group bookshelf to make sure the book you nominate has not already been a group read.

Authors if your book wins the BOM you may contact one of the mod's if you’re interested in giving the members it for free with the condition they will write a review.

Anyone can nominate a book, but must be different member to second or third said book.

Any other questions leave us a message below.

S.J. | 41 comments I nominate The Third Curse.The Third Curse

2052. The Longevity process has been available to those who can afford it for almost 20 years. Longevity Law Enforcement detective Chris McGregor and his rookie partner Meg Dalton are hit with a new case: U.S. Congressman Dustin Meacher and 22 other people have been killed in a domestic terrorism attack in a D.C. restaurant. Chris and Meg suspect Naturals Only radicals but are ordered to solve the case quickly – to find the ‘right kind’ of perpetrator - or risk fueling the protests that threaten to send the city up in flames. Again. Neither Chris nor Meg finds the murky official solution to their case acceptable. They stubbornly fight to change the game to one they have a chance of winning, even if it kills them.

Case-based SF detectives; definitely can be read as a stand-alone. The Third Curse (Longevity Law Enforcement, Prequel) by S.J. Hunter

In the near future, mutating civilians must receive a cure or face imprisonment. One man and woman strive to escape an unimaginably corrupt, parasitic agenda!

Taylor Hohulin (taylorhohulin) I nominate my novel, Alpha. A little sci fi, a little quirky romantic comedy, a little over-the-top action. It's the story of the first ever robotic soldier, how he fell in love with his mechanic, and how he got on the bad side of the most dangerous man on the planet.

The Spiral Slayers

Hello!

I would like to nominate my book 'The Spiral Slayers-Encounters' by Rusty Williamson but I've just been released from the hospital and I just stumbled onto this. I might need some help on meeting the qualifications--I've very new to GoodReads and I'm not sure what the ARR program is nor how to get my book listed there (it may already be there--I just don't remember). Also, other qualifications were alluded to but I don't see them nor know how to find them.

I'm still convalescing and the meds pretty much keep me out of it. I'll check back later and look into this more.

BTW, this is the first book of a series.

Thanks!
Rusty Williamson
