Shadow Kiss so good! I think it's my second favorite. The end was so sad! Rose was AWFUL to Lissa. She was like "All my life I've been told 'they come first.' Just once I want to come first.' And then she just LEFT Lissa crying.

I acually loved that part(I'm really not mean!), because to be honest.....I don't like Lissa, in all the previous books everything had to do with Lissa, and then Lisssa should have been more supportive of Rose, I mean that's supposedly your best friend going out to find the love of her life (and possibly kill him) and you want her to stay with you instead?! selfish much?

Rose drops out of school to kill her ex boyfriend (who is seven years older than her) and she doesn't even know where he is so she's just sulking around in Russia wondering what to do and spending Adrian's money on ball gowns. She leaves her best friend - who she is supposed to protect - behind. Rose gets Lissa roped into running for queen - and Lissa never even wanted to be queen. Rose is selfish and irresponsible.

Charlotte she's really not. Your sister is exaggerating everything about Rose Hathaway because she is upset about what happened in the end of the series.

VA is an awesome series! It's got everything that an amazing series should. There's a ton of romance, action, adventure, mystery, danger, humor, and more!

I don't know why, but Shadowkiss was one of my favorites of this series. I loved the nonstop action near the end and that horrific cliffhanger! I was freaking out, wondering how it would all end...

Haha she's no saint. She makes mistakes, but she makes up for it too.

Charlotte you HAVE to read the series. It's so awesome!! Your sister is giving it a bad rep just because she is so attached to Adrian.

And Rose is NOT a sl*t. Far from actually... You'd know if you read it :P

Yeah I don't really like books about vampires either... This series stood out tho :)

Can I just establish that I love this series? VA is my third favorite series ever. It's amazing. I just don't like how Rose handles certain things. But I like her MOST of the time, and I absolutely love the series.

This book is my favorite of the series....though I've still not finished Last Sacrifice (on the last few chapters) but this book was really great....teh right kind of excitement, the development of Rose and Dimitri's relationship and that CABIN SCENE!!!

I KNOW RIGHT?! AND THEN THAT ENDING!! That ending was horrific. Tears were streaming down my face when I read that... and the tears came all over again when Rose left Lissa. ;(

i havent finished yet, but until now lissa is getting on my bad side, i just dont think she is a very good frend, apart from the whole thing they have that damphirs are meant to protect the moroi wich sounds to me more like slavery, i mean they have to give up their own life up...

but apart than that she's ok, and dimitri and adrian, thats weird...
i love this book, its totally perfect, lets just see how it ends! everyone keeps scaring me by talking about dimitri ending strigoi....

Yeah strigoi is never a good way to end up...

I'm pretty sure Rose didn't sleep with Dimitri while dating Adrian, because she made it pretty clear she wasn't interested in Adrian, and Adrian knew she was in love with Dimitri xD

The ending really surprised me. She was overly harsh to Lissa, but I still respect Rose for being brave and carrying out Dimitri's wishes. I'm worried about what'll happen in the next book, though. And I'm also sad because it sounds like Christian won't be there, and I like him haha~
I also can't believe that the Moroi hadn't been using magic as a weapon earlier, because clearly it's very powerful and useful against Strigoi...

Yeah the Moroi just don't think sometimes!! I mean hello!!, your magic can protect you :P
