Kassi staggered into the square, she had a huge gash in her leg, and really didn't remember how she got it. She was pretty sure she had dropped her knife and it sliced her leg.
She was so shaky. She hadn't eaten in days, and had had barely any water. Her knees gave in and she collapsed onto the concrete ground. She dragged herself over to a bench and sat there, trying to spot a place where there would be food.

She tripped over her own weak feet as she stumbled over to a deserted candy store. It was all probably somewhere between three and four years old, but she didn't care. She had to get something.
She fell onto the ground again, gasping, as all of this energy was being taken out of her so easily. She continued to drag herself. She had to get there. She was thirsty and starving.

Hunter strolled into town. She saw a girl and watched her for a minute.

Kassi crawls in, and looked around. She saw a chocolate bar on the floor, and crawled to it.
She bit into it, knowing it was as hard as stone, but she broke it and sucked on it, so it melted in her mouth. She gained a little strength from it, and crawled back out with another old, stale chocolate bar. She leaned on a wall, trying to eat another one.

Hunter walked up and took it out of her hands. "Thank you." She said and smiled a sickeningly sweet smile.
Kassi looked up, trying to squish herself closer to the wall. She was scared of the strange girl. Kassi heard her stomach growl in protest, and she threw up.

Hunter stepped in front of the girl almost stepping on her hand. "Where do you think you are going?"
Kassi looked up at the girl. She shook her head, hidi g in between two buildings.
Hunter followed her. "Oh, you seem so un healthy." She said "would you live some food?" She asked hiding a smirk.
Kassi didn't think much about it. She nodded quickly, begging silently.
"To bad you aren't getting any." She scoffed laughing at her.

"You think you can hide?" She asked laughing easily walking beside her.
Kassi kicked the girl, only taking energy from herself. She found some small can, and knew it was food. She pulled out a knife, stabbing Hunter's foot straight through.
Hunter smiled grabbing the knife and twirling it in her fingers the blood still on it. She then threw it across the room. "Oops would you like to go her that?" She Asked.
Kassi grabbed another and sliced Hunter's feet, because she was on the ground that was all she could get.
She sliced Hunter's shins and legs, keeping her knife in her hand. She wasn't used to coming across people, she didn't know what to do, but this girl was crazy. She considered using her power but shaking it off.

Kassi felt a heat in her body, and knew it was coming. Then it happened. The first time in eight years, she used her power on someone. She tried to shut it off, but the cuts had already opened.
Hunter screamed "what the hell!" She yelled her eyes wide.
Kassi sobbed. She tried to say she was sorry, but couldn't use her voice.
Several cuts had started bleeding. Hunter kicked the girl in the side. "WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?" She asked.
Kassi curled in a ball, letting Hunter kick her. Cuts were still opening, when Kassi finally shut it off, though she couldn't exactly seal the wounds.

She ate four of them, and then stood up. She wobbled a little, but was stronger.
She ate two more, and waited for her stomach to settle. She stood of fine, and felt a lot more energy. She walksd put, seeing the girl.
