Lea looked around with something akin to wonder. She went to one of the book cases that was filled with many books. She didn't turn around as she felt Lucian move closer to her, "Wow," she whispered as she let her fingers touch the spines.

She smiled to herself, she feels so much right now that she feared for it for a moment. "Me too," she whispered since her voice was betraying how affected she was by being in his home.

She let her hand fall down to her side and she turned to face him, "Sure..." She trailed off as she looked up at him.

She slipped her hand with his without any word. At the moment she wanted to kiss him but she knows that she was going too fast so she settled for twining her fingers with his tightly.

She glanced around the living room with interest. It was built like a bachelor's pad but much homier than the ones she had seen of Hunter's and Jax'. "Nice place," she complimented.

Lea nodded thoughtfully and she wished that she had a home like his. Back home in Oklahoma, it was pretty cold and bare and looking at the room right now around her made her want to belong for once. She sighed deeply.
"Water would be great," she said as she looked up with a small smile.
She just nodded and when he turned back and left her to her own devices she couldn't help but sigh at how Lucian's life was so different from what she expected it to be.

Accepting the glass with not to steady hand she said, "Thanks." She took a sip and when some of the water spilled on her shirt she quickly apologized, wiping the circles away with quick pats of her hand.

She looked at the water spots on the pristine white couch. Those spots was her and the couch was like all the people she have in her life. She was an outcast and even though she had Jax as a friend she still felt lonely. She felt a tear slid down her cheek and she wiped it quickly but not before she heard his steps a few feet towards her.
She couldn't trust her voice to betray the great emotion she was feeling so she nodded to him as she took the towel from his hands.

She nodded again this time. "It's not about the water, Luc." She whispered to him as she finally looked at him in the eye.
Lea shook her head and answered, "You won't understand."
Lea knows that Lucian was concerned for her but for some reason she wanted to lash out at his naive concept of life, "When I say you won't understand that means I don't trust you to not spread it by the day is over," she said in a bitter voice as her hands clenched on her lap.

Lea couldn't believe what she was hearing from a stranger. No one had ever admitted it that way but she needed to stay strong since she didn't want to get hurt yet again by a guy, friend or not. Steeling herself for what she is going to say, "I don't need you or anyone else for that matter," she whispered but she knows her words were only a bluff.

She was confused and at the same time angry that he was acting this way. He should have thrown her out of his house by now just like the others had done to her. "Are you martyr? Is that it?" She snarled the word 'martyr' like a curse.

"It should be, you know," she whispered as the fight left her. It was no use he was not going anywhere and she wasn't sure if she should be relieve or not.

She flinched when his hand touch hers but she didn't move an inch since his warmth was welcome balm to her. She has no words for what he just said because she was so moved by it that all she can think of was being happy that she had met Lucian.

She nodded and smiled up at him. It was a wonderful thing that he somehow understood her from everyone else she had in her life, "I like horror."

She stood up and as she saw the movies in question her eyes widened. It was so many, she thought happily. She randomly took a movie from the sets and her hand came up with Drag Me to Hell. "This one," Lea said to Lucian with a small smile.

"Nope," she said as she went back to the couch. Lea didn't like of the popcorn in her mouth and the smell was only the beginning of it.
"I'm fine. I just want to watch the movie," she told him with a small grin.
"Don't worry about it," she whispered as she slipped her hand with his. Giving it a light squeeze, "Let's start the movie."
She looked at their hands for a long time before dragging her attention back to the movie. This was all new and she hope it will last this time.
