The moonlight was flickering onto the mirrors though the drainpipe hole, Lilly turned the last few dials and the gas knob and then took her seat in the middle of the machine. She had memorised the spell by heart. She pulled a large trumpet type device nearer to her mouth, which was attached to the side of the machine by a series of black corrugated pipes, and Lilly began to say the Latin spell, over and over again. The trumpet magnified them, not so much in volume but in vibration.
Dust formed in front of Lilly and changed into a small cloud, it appeared to be pouring in from the drainpipes in plumes. It had small flashing lights that were green and blue, it grew larger and larger until it formed what looked like a tunnel in front of Lilly, Lilly was amazed as the tunnel stretched before her for what seemed miles and there was no way that could have physically fitted into that room before
