Welcome aboard. Gene Moynihan and I help people find their creative powers so they can get what they want and stop attracting what they don't want. Our book, Thinking Anew: Harnessing the Power of Belief is based on 20 years of Gene's psychotherapy practice and 20 years of my experience helping people buy and sell businesses. The book will help anyone, especially business people, challenge their limiting beliefs so they can create the life they want. While the methodology is simple . . . written goal focused therapy .. . you'll find that simple is often hard to execute. Give it a try. Even play with it. You might just be amazed at the results.

Hey, im Adam

I added: The Improvement of the Mind, A supplement to Logic; to the collection.

I feel this book should be a necessary companion to everyone. It discusses many common situations that all people encounter, analysis them and provides solutions such that the outcome of said situation maximises the knowledge and minimizes ignorance of all parties. ie; in discussion, debate, reading...etc.

Jamie Wang | 1 comments Hello everybody, my name is Jamie Wang.

I am an entrepreneur, a band manager, a professional breakdancer, and just recently became an author. Also, I'm still in college.

My book is called "The Secret to Life: an 8 Step Guide". You don't have to buy it or anything, I'll give it away to you for free. I honestly just want to know that it can help people.

Send me your e-mail and I'll give you the PDF of my book. The lessons in my book are very personal to me as they've helped me through depression, suicidal urges, fear, and stagnation. I hope they can be of help to you as well.

Cheers.

Your friend,

*Laura* | 1 comments Hi everyone! I'm Laura and I like reading self-help books. I wanna always try new techniques in order to improve myself. I haven't found "the perfect" book but I keep on searching. My favourite book so far is "I deserve the best" of an Italian writer, Lucia Giovannini. Give it a try!

Aleks Srbinoski (AleksGeorge) | 4 comments Hi everyone,

I'm Aleks. I'm a Psychologist and self-development author from sunny Sydney Australia. I've been looking for an interesting writer's group to join in order to learn and share what I know and connect to like-minded people.

I have a new book coming out in 3-4 weeks where I interviewed best-selling business and self-improvement entrepreneurs and will offer a synopsis of it next time I post if that is acceptable to the group. I'll be happy to offer a review copy to those who may be interested.

Other than that, I hope everyone is well and I look forward to contributing where I can :)

message 9: by Parinaz (last edited May 31, 2014 02:10PM) (new)

Parinaz Billimoria | 3 comments Hello everyone :-) This is Parinaz. I am a Copywriter. I love reading self-development books. I was introduced to this world of possibilities seven years ago. Louise Hay, Rhonda Byrne, Esther and Jerry Hicks, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra, and Neale Donald Walsch are some of my favourites. I have completed courses in REIKI, Chakra Therapy, and Colour Therapy. A devotee of Metaphysics. I am here to learn new ways of continuously evolving and expressing myself to the fullest and to share the knowledge that I have gathered over the years.

Self-help books appeared in my life (when I actually wanted to change) and helped me immensely. They didn't act as instant noodles to the hungry aspects of my life, but they changed my ways of looking at situations. They gave me courage to evolve and transform my life into a life that I wanted to live! They prodded me to seek a journey of self-search. They were my tools, my reminders, my sagacious co-creators.

And then there was no looking back. This magic of finding me amid so much self-doubt and self-criticism is what inspired me to pen down my encounter with nature's gizmos. From self-berating to self-forgiving, from 'living for others' to 'loving myself,' and from nervousness and anxiousness to tranquility and confidence, I chose my own life.

Today I am happily doing what I love to do.

You can have a look at 'Bits and Pieces that will transform your life,' which is a collection of the articles I wrote for an Indian Newspaper, just out of my joy to write and share! And, unknowingly, changed thousands of lives. So here I am! Sharing (worldwide) all those observations, learnings, bits and pieces I gathered and applied on my journey to self-improvement. Of course, the journey hasn't ended yet. It's just getting better!

I am not completely free of all fears, but they scare me less. In fact, sometimes not at all! In being your real self lies the greatest joy. A truth I found on my way.

Have a good time reading my gathered insights and have a better time improving!

The link to my Amazon Kindle eBook is
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KGEIG4W

If anyone needs any help... feel free to ask me! :-)
GOD BLESS YOU... Looking forward to some more self-development!!! Do rate my book GENUINELY after reading :-) Thank you!

Earl II | 2 comments Based on my years of mentoring hundreds of people – helping them overcome some of life’s most daunting challenges, I have developed an approach that is truly life-changing. I have found that questions of personal growth and empowerment come down to a handful of life questions that most either overlook or take for granted.

I provide mentoring to those who have both the courage and determination to make a truly transformational journey. My approach is heavily influenced by core principles of Zen Buddhism. I don’t offer quick fixes or follow the latest fads. If you are willing to make the long journey – if it’s time for you to come to know the person you really are and can become – if you intend to finally find the path you should be following – if you want to start living life you were truly meant to live – then perhaps we should talk. I'm also a voracious reader and love discussing books; particularly good ones. You can visit me at http://www.dr-smith.info/

Great to see so many authors! I'm a new author and wrote a true story about awakening and seeing the world anew while sipping green tea. In a most unlikely encounter I meet a Master of the Way and begin a retraining of the mind. While sipping green and reflect on my lessons I begin to answer the question; “who made you?”
Have a look at my website and hopefully you'll enjoy it and see in a new way. :)

Nina Norstrom | 9 comments Hi Everyone:
Nina Norstrom, here! I’m a writer/author/ volunteer. My preference of reading is non-fiction books. I think it’s interesting to discover the journey one has walked, and how it all plays out. Books of that genre can be very enlightening. In addition to my reading and writing, I have a passion for volunteering. If you’re ever at a particular event, don’t be surprised if you see me. ‘Cause I just love to give back my energy, through volunteering.
As an author of Writelife Publishing, “Not a Blueprint: It’s the Shoe Print that Matter: A Journey Through Toxic Relationships,” is scheduled to be released April 5, 2016. We are living in turbulent days, and our culture is clouded with a mass of toxicity. Every one of us experiences some form of toxic relationship. Relationships aren’t necessarily with people. We can have toxic relationships with alcohol, animals, battlefields, diseases, drugs, environments, religions, and even our own emotions. But it can also offer us the opportunity to learn and grow. This is my story of
those lessons learned and the shoe prints they have left on life. Preorders are available at a discount.
Great news, my website has just been completed at: www.ninanorstrom.com
Thanks for having me as part of the group!Looking forward to the interaction . . .

message 28: by Ruchira (new)

Ruchira Khanna | 2 comments Hello,

Mindfulness is a mantra that I too cling to.
Have a book called, "Choices: A Novel" that talks about fate versus desires in man. It discusses IF fate make a man, or do his desires? Do ambitions and desires actually lead a person to true happiness and fulfillment, or does providence and life changing events actually show a person the true path to follow?
‘Choices’ raises these questions, and attempts to answer them.

I have another book coming out this year end which encircles around the quest for happiness!

Namaste!

What's unique about this book is it's health benefit and it's sanity. There are no gimmicks, no carb or calorie counting ever. Readers either gain ridiculous health with a weight loss benefit or lose ridiculous weight with a health and nutrition benefit -- either way, it's a win-win!

Here's the book: http://www.amazon.com/EAT-Empower-Adj...

EAT! – Empower. Adjust. Triumph! Lose Ridiculous Weight –-an easy to follow, sane approach to losing ridiculous weight and gaining ridiculous health. Rooted in the philosophies of Natural Hygiene, EAT! fuses education, behavior modification and motivation with nature’s fast foods and a powered-up palate to create a blueprint of success for losing ridiculous weight with no calorie or carb counting ever! The book includes a menu plan, a whole foods list, GMO foods to avoid, a super easy alkaline/acid assessment and a raisin test. It motivates the reader to focus on food combining, gut health, efficient digestion, the redefinition of fast foods, eating locally and that relishing the natural flavors of food again is ridiculously easy.
