Hi,I can't think of anything (novel, short story) with a ghost main character.
I will nominate : Saving Fish from Drowning by Amy Tan, if you will take it.
The narrator is a ghost.
I'd like to nominate my book The Attic Girl, the main character becomes a ghost in the beginning.

I think a first person narrator qualifies as a main character, so that book is a great nominee.

lol! Thanks A.F. Guess I was reading too quickly and missed that part. Sorry :-/
I also wanted to nominate Heart Shaped Box by Joe Hill. :)And ... If I Stay by Gayle Forman (YA). It sounds amazing!
Ghost stories are great this time of year. I would like to recommend: A Certain Slant of Light by Laura Whitcomb. I read it years ago and it still sticks with me.

A book about shifters doesn't sound like a ghost story. Does it meet the requirement of having a main character of a ghost?

Thorns of an Innocent Soul sounds like a great book, but does it meet the theme requirements of being a ghost story (as in a supernatural element). It's hard to tell from the description.

Yes, it has many supernatural elements all throughout the story. Jennifer, the main character, tells a terrifying psychological story of her childhood into adulthood from her ghostly perspective.

Okay, great.
Okay, great.
I'd like to add this as a potential choice:Between
by Clarissa Johal
I don't know anything about it other than the first few pages that I read on Amazon.com. The premise caught my attention...
