Does anyone know if there's going to be more Athena project novels?

I love Brad Thor and am on his emailing newsletter list. He hasn't mentioned anything about the book he's working on yet, but I believe it's pretty clear he's working on ONE book. He just said the other day on Twitter that he's be revealing the title and cover art for his new book (due out in July) soon! I'm dying to know if it's a Scot Harvath book an Athena project story. I hope we find out soon!
The book he was working one turned out to be "Act of War", a Scot Harvath book. I went to a Brad Thor book signing this past July and he didn't say anything about another Athena book but there will be an Athena movie in production soon. Ronda Rousey, an MMA fighter, is set to star in it. He did mention that he has a production company being set up to do the Scot Harvath series in the near future.
You're missing out on some good books if you don't like the name "Brad." He is the real thing. Check some of his interviews on Fox. He's a true patriot.
Heh heh. Well, I was just being facetious; (but nevertheless yes I think when I look over my bookshelves I don't often see authors with that name).
It's not really his name I take any issue with (even jokingly). He's simply 'too recent an author' to be on my radar screen. I like tried-and-proven masters of the craft. I also like plots without computers featured as elements of the story.
I hadn't considered the aspect of his (or any author's) patriotism. Is that a pressing concern in thrillerdom, these days?

Just to let you know dept: I joined the Entitle Book service club a few months back. For $9.99 a month you can download and keep 2 books. They have a $14.99 plan for 3 books, a $19.99 for 4 books a month OR, a $99.99 plan for 24 books a year. When you join, you get a book free as well. 3 books for $10? Are you kidding me? One drawback as of now: you cannot read these books on an e-ink Kindle (Paperwhite and so forth). They are e-pub books. You can read on a Kindle Fire and I also read them on my Le Pan tablet and my HTC One android phone. One of my first books to download was the 3rd Scot Harvath thriller:
. I figure for me, my cost was only 1/2 of my monthly due, so it was $5.00. Then just last month I ordered
and again you figure my cost is only $5 (and it sells for what? Over $10?). Yesterday I ordered the:
, which sells on Amazon for almost $30 and again, my cost was only $5. They also had the 1st collection. I just found the 3rd collection with the next 3 Brad Thor thrillers in it. I am catching up on my Scot Harvath thrillers. I enjoy this service. If you join up (and can quit at any time), contact me and I have a special URL number. This way you get one FREE month (after you pay for a month) and I get one FREE month. Then you can go after other recruits. They are a small service, but I have books lined up for the next year easy. I think I am going to jump on that 3rd Brad Thor collection. Can't beat that price.
I only order books that I can't get cheaper anywhere else. But so far I have not had any problems finding deals like Art of War or the Collections. I discovered a new action thriller author I like as well: Simon Kernick, author of
.
I like the subscription services for e-books. I have not tried this one though. I have Amazon Prime so between that and the Library I can read a ton of stuff.

Same here, i have Amazon Prime as well. But i use Entitle to get books I can't get at my digital library or Prime. At times i check at all 3 places: library, Amazon, and Entitle. Still, i picked up the 3rd Brad Thor collection as well. six brad thor thrillers for $9.99 total.
Next book, 2015's Code Of Conduct is going to be about the UN trying to take over the USA. How he is going to make an ineffectual organization into a serious adversary....will be interesting to say the least.
Uh, this UN plot to take over the USA is an old scarecrow that has been used for decades by militia groups, gun nuts, survivalists and right wing extremists to justify their agendas and actions. Anyone thinking for a second can see that the UN couldn't fight its way out of a paper bag, much less be able to take over the USA. This CODE OF CONDUCT book sounds like a non-starter to me.

I tried I mean really tried to read Brad Thor. I truly hated his Charlie's Angels rip off, Athena Project. He's portrayal of women was almost comical. And the plot, an old Nazi war machine? Really? The Hidden Order was even worse. I could get past the heavy handed political angle...everyone's got a right to their opinion but, EVERYone had at least one scene where they launched into the I-hate-the-Government speech. Hey did you know that the Fed isn't a part of the government? YES! And even if I didn't, did you have to remind me every other page! But the biggest sin was the almost total lack of action. Man, do I miss Vince Flynn.

Direct sequel to the events of book 13. Focuses on the timeless nightmare for intelligence services, namely the fear of their network lists getting leaked.
Another year, another book on the way. 2016 will have "Foreign Agent" coming out, and it seems to be a bit more relevant in plot rather than the UN Conspiracy. Elevator pitch goes like this. You have an special operation team in a safehouse on the border with Jordan. The team is targeting the director of media for Daesh. There is also a team of analysts and a bigwig in the vicinity. Suddenly the staging ground is attacked, the special operations team is slaughtered, the analysts are taken hostage and the bigwig is missing.
Scott Harvath, the man who gathered the intelligence for the busted operation launches an investigation with his neck on the block. He discovers a foreign power seeking to use the event to advance their own agenda and begins his hunt for the foreign agent responsible.
