That is what I was thinking, but I have come to the conclusion that that cannot be true or I will have some serious issues. I already preordered the last book in the series off of Amazon. Now I just have to wait till JUNE OF 2014.

Exactly its like I am just waiting for the book to come out just to see if Noah is alive. Mara cannot live without him. I feel like the beggining of the third book is going to be depressing. And where are her parents!!! They better become suspicious quick.

I know Noah is still alive.1st piece of evidence: the cover has the male and he has been there since the beginning.
2nd piece of evidence: The covers are from a collection called abyss of the disheartened by Heather Landis in which if Noah was dead they could have used one of the pics with only the girl on it.
3rd piece of evidence: My own opinion in which for some reason i think Mara would try to kill herself if Noah was really dead. This can not happen because she is the main character unless that is hoe the book ends.>_<
I dont know if he is alive I just strongly believe he is. I dont think the series will be the same if he dies.

No, I don't think he's dead. I don't think she could kill Noah, it wouldn't sit right with the story. :)
I don't think he's dead I think Dr.kells just said that to get rid of Maras motivation so she wouldn't try to fight for herself. Plus Noah can't die he used to be suicidal and emo so he would have tried to kill himself. And as he said he heals and can't be injured no matter how hard be trues
I know the series is over now, but here's a theory I saw somewhere:Jude mentions in EoMD that he thinks Mara can bring Claire back to life. If this is really possible, and Noah is really dead, Mara can bring him back to life.
