by the Apostle, John,
from the NIV Spirit of the Reformation Study Bible
DONEm 8/26/13
My Review The last book in the Bible brings the entire Bible full circle, from predicting Christ to the return of Christ. What was taught in Genesis is still taught in Revelation as to how to behave while here on earth. Without being too revealing, the Apostle John, who walked with Christ, describes events to yet take place with extravagant symbolism that rivals any prophet that came before him. A prophet, himself, John writes what he is told and what he sees. The book, like all other books of the Bible, is Divine
Self-help
by John J Matey
Done, 8/12/13
My Review I savor this book for all its common sense, inspiration, and excellent research. I especially relish the bonus speech by 40 year-old Noah Webster at the end of the book. I highly recommend this book to everyone, especially the silent Americans who are shying away from a call to action.
Philosophy/Self-help
by Kenny Luck
Done, 8/10/13
My Review Kenny Luck writes a book for Christian men that inspires in ways not anticipated and bases his research on the Word and his own struggles with the world and the flesh. This is a book for the times as a war against Christianity is obviously underway.
History/Philosophy
by John Eidsmoe
Done, 8/31/13
My Review I thoroughly enjoy John Eidsmoe's style in writing this book as he applies scripture to today's social problems. Without condemning anyone, John logically and intelligently states a case from an humanistic point of view and then a Biblical one. He backs his opinions with sound historical evidence and moral conviction. I quote and share a few of his comments:
“The framers were realists; they recognized that the best constitution in the world could be distorted and destroyed by men determined to do so.”
“Source of national strength. By providing leadership, guidance, restraint, security, and values, the family unit promotes the greatness of the nation. Should the family fail in these responsibilities, the nation will suffer as a result.”
“A graduate can be academically excellent but morally and spiritually bankrupt. We need to consider these dimensions in education as well.”
I'm originally from Jersey, so I choose the word, "SHORE"S
By Stuart Avery Stuart Avery Gold writes motivational books for people to be successful in their endeavors whether it be business or life in general. Ping: A Frog in Search of a New Pond is predictable and old hat. Maybe I am full of this genre from past readings but I am neither inspired nor entertained by this book. H
by Phyllis Schlafly and George Newmayr, Narrator: Dianna Doman Schlafly and Neumayr explain the rise to power and the ideological differences between the Far-Left Progressives, Barack Hussein Obama and those who support, pave, and administer that power; and the Judao-Christian ideology that defines the United States of America from its inception. No Higher Power reviews the history of the man, President Obama, and the personnel in the machine that has been operating for decades culminating in the last two presidential victories. The intricacy for the fundamental change promised by this Progressive regime may be understood by listening to the audio version, narrated by Dianna Doman, or reading the book. The authors research back up their claim that there is an Obama declaration of war on religious freedom, the books subtitle. Much of the book is a review of events but much of it is, also, an education that enlightens one to the guiding principles behind the radical change Americans are now witnessing. This book renders reasons for the otherwise inexplicable actions of those in power.
I recommend this book for the eye-opening realization that power wields to control, not necessarily govern, the masses; and this determines whether or not one believes that the people hold any power, whatsoever, or are sheep, led by an elite Progressive machine which promotes the illusion of individuals having power.

Review
This book is better as a reference to one's questions about spiritual life and Biblical teachings, but it may be read as a challenge. It becomes repetitive read this way as many themes repeat the Gospel written by more than one Apostle. There are slight differences in their writings. The Gospel is now deeper within this reader and its application is easier applied.
I am adding another book,
So, it is:
Review
Michele Andrea Bowen's writing captures the era and the culture beautifully while Denise Burse narrates the unfolding events with the style and flavor of an American Southern town during the story's timeline.
The story puts the reader in Mississippi among people who may remind them of those with whom they grew up, interacted, or worked. If it does not, this reader can attest to the feelings of authenticity and charm these people bring to the story.
Church Folk is an enjoyable read/listen about a black community in Mississippi circa 1961-1963. The plot centers around a young, handsome, black man, Rev Theophilus Simmons, and his courtship of Essie, a young, good, black woman worthy of marrying. The story evolves through the characters' behavior with one another during the days of Civil Rights. Some of the male minor characters, including those of the cloth, use women in the community as objects to satisfy their sexual urges which makes them feel desirable and important. As one elder female citizen points out, some women think that having sex with a man of God is a pathway to grace by way of his penis. This slice of life is fraught with humorous colloquialisms like this. At first, Essie questions Rev Theophilus Simmons' intentions knowing many men, especially good looking ones, like to play the field. She did not want to be a player in any man's field. This quality in Essie is one of the reasons Theophilus courts and eventually marries her. Theophilus proves to be the man Essie believes him to be by his devotion to her and his stance against the corruption in the church.
Book three is
by Mark R. Levin
Done, 10/1/13 Therefore, it is: Review
A solution to restore America to the original intent of its founding father's, The Liberty Amendments: Restoring the American Republic, outlines the manner and supports the rationale for taking measures to ensure less corruption and deceit by those in power who wish to remain in that intoxicating position at all costs. Mark Levin, in his earlier books, Liberty and Tyranny, and, Ameritopia, describes how America starts with a Constitution that limits the powers of men and groups of men and women in government, then describes how disregard for that Constitution leads to a Progressive Socialist form of government, one which resembles a declining Europe more than an exceptional America. This third book on the subject of the American Constitution expertly delineates the appropriate Conservative approach necessary to become a trusted, economically responsible nation once again, a country the world can depend upon to act with moral conviction and compassion for all humanity and who demonstrates such virtue with its own citizens.
All Conservative pundits praise The Liberty Amendments: Restoring the American Republic as inspirational while the opposition, far-left Liberals, view it as heresy. Anyone who knows the American Constitution as the longest lasting document of its type in the history of the world with designs to give the people of sovereign states the ultimate power in government, must acknowledge Mark Levin's body of work in this arena of law and justice as brilliant. That body of work culminates in The Liberty Amendments: Restoring the American Republic which offers a cogent, logical solution worthy of our best efforts to implement, if liberty and freedom have a chance, still, in America.
#4 will be
by K .P. Yohannan
Done, 10/18/13 with:Review
K.P. Yohannan is a remarkable human being with a real grasp of the need for spreading the Word of God, via the Gospel, as Jesus Christ intends. His life story and his testimony shares the qualities missing in the world, especially in Western Civilization, that spread the Gospel effectively. Large, managed world missionary projects spend more time controlling organizational tasks than effectively reaching and impressing the Great Commission upon those who have never heard about Jesus Christ. K.P. brings this message to America and demonstrates how the Holy Spirit works in his life by never caving to temptation by taking the easy path or accepting lucrative offers that come with selfish preconditions. Revolution in World Missions is an example of how missions should operate using trained indigenous people to connect to their fellow countrymen; otherwise, the Gospel appears to be the religion of the West white man and not the Word of God.
Just downloaded #5 from my local library:
by Andrew Breitbart
Done; 10/3/13 So my final clue reveals:
Review
An autobiographical account of the author that starts in his college days and ends with his success in digital social media, 2011. Andrew Breitbart pursues truth as an investigative journalist and internet pioneer. His opinions and convictions develop throughout this very enjoyable adventure known as his life. Andrew is best known for the exposure of lies and deceit within the politics of America; most notably, the ACORN scandal. His knowledge of change, that occurs to this day behind the scenes, makes him a true hero and adversary simultaneously.
Righteous Indignation comes about when Andrew learns how the philosophy of Harry Frankfurt, http://www.unc.edu/~dfrost/classes/Fr... allows the teachings of Karl Marx and G.W.F. Hegel to attack the American way of life via critical theory. This cultural Marxism becomes apparent to Breitbart as he becomes subject to its utilization by a far-left political machine that is well funded and deeply ingrained in today's society. Further, Andrew goes on a campaign to expose the mainstream media's attempts to suppress knowledge of this machine that invents a rationale for radical environmentalism, artistic Communism, psychological deconstruction of their opponents, multiculturalism, and especially repressive tolerance, otherwise known as political correctness.
