Annetta entered the restaurant and looked around. She was glad her brother had finally got home to look after Eliana so she could go out not that she would talk to anyone or make friends. She sat at a table near the door.
Annetta jumped as she heard a phone being dropped on the table. She looked around and saw a guy sitting there. She smiled shyly at him hoping she could make a friend.
(( Just to let you know in case you didn't she has a destiny mate :) ))

((Sure but it will have to be tomorrow now as it is 23:12 at the moment :) ))
Cale sat down and smiled at the other man. " Thank you," he said.
Cale nodded and looked through the menu. He would slip some money to the waitress or waiter later to pay for his meal.
" Huh? I don't know. What do you want to talk about?" He asked. He would have to make an effort to speak more. For someone who was one of the most popular guys in high school he was being rather socially awkward.
((night))Vik shrugged "I don't know," he sighed softly "I have no idea what to talk about. I hardly know you."
" And I don't know you. So what about starting to get to know each other," he said.
" Umm I am 21, have 3 sisters which live with me. I moved out of my parents with them when I was 18. My favourite colour is black. I like Italian food and action movies. Thats about it. What about you?" He asked curiously.
"Why do you like action movies?" Vik asked him "Alright, about me, I don't have any family, I'm 23, I like Chinese food, and I'm more of a horror movie guy myself."
" Don't know. I just like then because they are an escape from reality I guess and horror films cool," he said.
Vik smiled and nodded "That's a good answer, I like it. Tell me about your sisters. How old are they?"
" Eliana is 3 ad Annetta is 16. Eliana seems like she is going to be really popular when she gets older. She loves the colour pink and disney princesses. Annetta is really shy but she has a couple of friends. She likes figure skating," he said.
(( bye bye going to school :) ))
"How did she ever get into figure skating? I love little kids. They're just he most adorable little things in the world. I always kind of wanted one of my own but..." he shrugged. A single man could never have a child.
"She was watching the winter Olympics when she was about 5 and begged our parents for lessons. They gave in and let her have them. She then fell in love the sport and has been doing it ever since. If you want you could come and meet them some time." he said not sure why he had offered to let him meet his siblings.
Gael was almost late, and on top of that, had to give a long explanation about why she had been absent two days without notice. In the end, the job was still hers. There was a steady flow of customers throughout the day. It was one of those normal ones, until her father stopped by.
Her father sat at one of the empty tables, and she approached. She couldn't just keep on running forever. "Why are you here for? I already told you I'm not living with a goblin. Ever. Not even for a contract you made. That's your problem." She snapped in a low voice. He rubbed his temple and then leaned back on his chair.. "You know very well that when your time is up he'll come looking for you. And if your boyfriend stands in the way... Well, you know what'll happen. I'm merely trying to warn you before it's too late and you regret it."
"I don't need warnings." Her father shrugged and got up, ready to leave, not before paying for the cup of coffee he'd had. Either way, he had nothing to fear.
A friend of Gael's asked her to take her shift because she had an emergency, so she stayed there, even though she wanted to go home and be with her mom. It was time to stop endangering everyone.
She saw him there and walked towards the counter with a half hearted smile. "Good evening, Mr. What are you going to order?"
She glanced at the clock. Her shift ended in fifteen minutes and the few people left seemed to be already finishing with their meal. Gael looked back at him. "I just have a couple of problems. What about you? You don't seem much better either."
"I..." She took his had and led him to a table to sit down. "It's my father. He was here today." She held up a hand, "And before you say anything, he didn't hurt me."
Gael looked away. She'd hoped she would never have to tell him, but this was too important for him not to know. "There's this... creature, which my father made a deal a long time ago. Like many of them do, he asked of my father his firstborn child and he accepted, thinking it wasn't a problem because he'd never have kids." She gestured to herself sighing. "But I came along so now, soon, I'll have to go with him. He just came to tell me times was running out."
"That's exactly what I'm working on trying to avoid." She rested her chin on the table, thinking. Having to go live as a prisoner, or who knew what exactly, was one of the many issues demanding her attention right then. There was also the fact that if she didn't go on her own, somebody would be sent to look for her.
"Lucas, I know you can, but I really don't want you on their radar too." She lifted her head, looking at him very seriously. "Remember how you didn't want me in all the vampire mess? Well, I don't want these fey to know about you."
"You're very stubborn, you know that, right?" She fidgeted with her hands. She thought the same about him, but now that she was in this position, she understood why he hadn't want her involved in his problems at first. "Precisely you dying is what I want to prevent. I'll figure out something."
"Yeah, I did." She looked down and took a deep breath. "Do you want something to eat? I can bring you something. We have this discount for employees on tuesdays." She managed a smile, not wanting to argue with him. Neither of them would ever agree on that him making himself known to the fey was a good idea.
"You don't understand. There's no escaping from them." She felt some tears coming but held them back. Once in a while, it hit her that her own father had bargained with her life. She'd never asked what favor he'd gotten in exchange for her. It'd be like asking how much she was worth, and she really didn't want to know. "With my mom we've been collecting objects for a long time to offer in exchange for my freedom when the day comes. If I run away they'll just come after me."
"Alright." She snifled, looking at him through her eyelashes. "You always seem to know exactly what to say to make me feel better. Thanks."
"I promise I'll let you protect me as long as it doesn't endanger you." She leaned her head against his shoulder, sighing softly.
Gael smiled up at him and whispered, "I love you too, sweetheart. Why don't we just leave that topic for later, okay? I don't like arguing with you, and less about this."
