i really want to win or at least get a vote for my book day costume next year!
i dressed up as dauntless this year which was okay i felt kick ass but it wasn't amazing!

i was thinking next year a feary from the iron fey series

i have dark brown almost black hair so i was thinking electric blue colours would look cool.
maybe electric blue contacts
feathers and small braids in my hair
crazy make up


but i want to be a summer fey sooo, those colours won't work....

i need hair style ideas, clothes and well anything else!
any other ideas?

Last year I went on an orchestra trip and we weren't allowed to dress up. It was so sad. But I am going to tell you about this girl who dressed up as a unicorn. She wore white top, cardi, legging s and shoes and then she crafted this giant horse shaped head out of those big cardboard boxes you get for moving and painted it white. Then she added silver tinselly strips for mane and forelock and then made a horn. It had blue eyes with long eyelashes. I think the nostrils were the eye holes.
You're costume. That sounds pretty cool. I haven't read the Iron fey series so I don't know what they look like but that sounds cool. Yo should use bright blue face paint/ eye liner to make weird patterns around your eyes. Electric blue sounds like a good colour but you could also go lilac because my sisters friends dressed up as evil faeries or something for halloween and they had lilac contacts and it looked so creepy and awesome. Feathers and braids sounds cool too. Are you thinking of beading the braids? Because that would look cool, electric blue braids. What were you thinking of clothes wise?
The year before last I was an Ent with two friends (out of Lord of the rings) we wore brown and died our hair green and back combed it and hairsprayed it until it looked a little like leaves.
I'm thinking of being a creepy Alice in wonderland- think Alice in wonderland but holding cut up fluffy toy bunny smeared with red paint and with red paint smeared on white apron.

and i'm not to sure clothes maybe brown leather leggings and i hoody or something and little boots

Lol. I don't really know what I could do to help you really good but, I have two ideas for you. First one, I'm pretty sure in the last chapters of every book the author puts a guide of how to survive there. She also puts what to wear I think it's running shoes, jeans,and a shirt I'm pretty sure though, that's just one idea it's not that interesting but, I just wanted you to know.
Here's my second idea is.. well I usually picture the summer fey like this:(well for a girl) , jeans (brown or black) you can either leave it normally like that or you can make kind of like zig zag lines at the the bottom of the jeans (I don't know if you'll like it that way), a green shirt that you can tuck in your jeans or just a green blouse (you can make like maybe a flower necklace to go with it.), oh I was thinking of maybe a fake sword on your side, for your hair it you can either leave it out so it could cover your ears (their supposed to have pointed ears) or you can do a french braid, fishtail braid, or a waterfall braid with pieces of flowers through your hair, I'd say to put green flower earrings if your ears are pierced but, I don't how that would look, oh! I almost forgot the shoes can be either low boots or if you have like brown slippers to make it look real.

I think my ideas might be a little absurd. :/
Sorry about that but, that's all I could think so far.

and i am thinking of getting pointy ear costume things and like hazel or really bright brown contact lenses , leggings (brown, and yeah like a blouse and well i terrible with hair so i'll have to try figure that out but something with braids, plaits and feathers and flowers hehe.

And you welcome. I must admit it was FUN. I got to imagine what it would look like though, I don't even know how you look though, the black hair helped a lot.

haha thanks because the problem is i have dark features so dark hair and eyes so i thought hmmm maybe winter fey would be better but i have a warm complexion so like slightly tanned skin so maybe summer.
i'm like an in between hehe

Haha . Do you have long hair or short hair because it might be a little bit difficult to do braids unless of course you could do small braids. Do you know how to braid? I know how to braid but, when I try doing a difficult braid in my hair it gets frustrating because it doesn't come out as I like.

long hair hehe but it's hard for big plaits because i had layers before so bits of hair just stick out but i was thinking maybe half up half down.
