K Project discussion

The park is a wide open, luxurious space full of fake grass, but it's so real you can almost taste it. It is accompanied by Seating, Trees, Tables, Chess areas and a very, very small pond.

Kage sat at a table by himself, an ornate glass chessboard in front of him. He made calculated moves, but the most notable fact of this game was that he was playing against himself. He wasn't trying to lose, either. He was fully exploiting every possibility and weakness for both sides, making it a very even match.

Iki skated into the park, going slowly and enjoying the weather. She had always like the simple things like that. She closed her eyes, basking in the dappled sunlight that washed over he- Her thoughts and bliss was snapped like a branch as she came into full, harsh contact with a table... With a chess set on it... Made of glass.

Kage frowned. "I certainly didn't expect that move..." he muttered, standing. "Are you alright?" he asked the woman, concerned. After all, the glass had shattered. He had several cuts on the arm he had put between her and it, shielding her from most of it, with the slight consequence of it being pressed against her chest. He drew it back, examining the tattered remains of his Ashford Academy Cosplay uniform's sleeve, and his black wig, that was supposed to make him look like Lelouch, only with glasses. Well, there goes a couple hundred bucks...

Iki looked, slightly shocked, at the shattered Chess chess and then up at what appeared to be a character from Code Geass. "Oh... Are you kidding me! I'm fine! But what about that and..." She trailed her eyes over his body. "And your arm. Are you alright?" Her board had rolled somewhere to the right, but she made no move to retrieve it. She didn't move back and just studied his uniform and the spreading scarlet.

"Well, I'll have to replace the outfit... But it looks like the wig and contact lenses are alright. Hmm..." Kage muttered, completely zoned out. He took out the Geass symbol contacts, putting them back into a case, and removed the black wig, revealing his green hair. "I should probably pull out the glass, too..." he added, analyzing the situation.

((Hope she didn't notice the inadvertent groping. XD))

((Naww, in a clan like hers stuff usually happens. Getting touchy doesn't help. Either forget about it or give em' hell XD))

Iki stood there and, with mouth ever so slightly open, watched him assess damage. "Hey, Don't you care about the chess set at all? That looked expensive!" She couldn't help it. Her classic Red attitude was bound to appear sometime. "Plus, I'll pay for the damage." She regretted it as soon as she said it, remembering how much some cosplaying stuff cost...

"Nah, it's fine. I work in a hobby shop. I have tons. Also, I highly doubt you can afford to buy me a new costume. It took all of my food money for this year," Kage replied, shrugging as he began picking out chunks of glass from his arm.

((Eck, so sorry but I have to go soon))

"Food...Money." Once again Iki was thrown off, her eyes turning owlish. A little, unnoticeable flicker of red danced at each of her index fingers. "You... spend so much... On stuff like this?" She asked slowly. "WHY?!?!" Iki then stopped as she saw him calmly pulling the offending material out of his arm. "Why did you have to be noble and take the glass! I could've handled it." She murmured in true red fashion.

"Sure. You could have handled taking the sharp top of the king piece to an artery, causing massive hemorrhaging and a very quick death by blood loss," Kage replied, continuing with his task. His reputation for always being the smartest guy around was never overestimated, it seemed. "I spend that much because I feel like it. Why not? I can always eat something out of the faculty fridge, unless I get fired."

Iki paused, eyes flicking at her own arm involuntarily. "No..." She said slowly, her wit choosing now to take a coffee break. She was feeling at a loss. Usually she was the taunting and collected one, but around this guy she was an open book. She hated it. Her mind went through the events and in a moment her eyes sparked. "Hey, did you touch me there on purpose!?!" Iki scowled at him, meaning her chest, needing to find some reason to get her attitude back.

"If it makes you feel better. I can see that you're HOMRA, so you need SOME reason to be pissed. So have at it," Kage replied disinterestedly, pulling out the last of the glass. He yawned, waiting for her verbal assault. It wasn't much to worry about.

Iki was annoyed and at the same time intrigued. How had he known she was... Oh. She let her low aura power fade from her fingers and let her face smooth out from the frown it had been in. With a quick movement she thrust her hand into her pockets and pulled out bandages. Usually they were for when she got blisters on her hands or feet from skating. She had no idea how to put them on properly though... With her own ailments she just carelessly chucked them on. Iki looked up at Kage. "I'm sure your oh-so-clever self can figure out how to cover the scratches on your arm." She said flippantly, regaining some of her old self.

"I'm sure I can, as well," Kage replied cooly, ripping of the tattered sleeve, revealing the blood-covered lithe muscle of his arm. He held his non-injured hand out, for the bandages. "If you please," he prompted, bored.

Iki's eyebrow drew together as she placed the bandage in Kage's waiting hand. "I never did catch you name...?" She inquired, her muscles relaxing as she seemed to calm down a bit. And then, without warning or pause, her hand came up with a snap, aiming for Kage's face with a reckoning force.

The hand met a tiny bit of wispy black, stopping dead in the air while Kage set to work. "It's Kage. Ka-ge, not Cage. Pronounce it correctly, or don't say it at all," he informed, setting up neat, tight bandages. He kept his neutral gaze, on his arm, sighing. "Now, the problem with that attack is that you thought it was without warning. It wasn't. The warning was there, but it was the opposite of what most look for. The warning was the fact that you relaxed. It obviously was uncharacteristic, and therefore, a warning sign. Got that memorized?" he asked, sighing like a teacher informing a student for the umpteenth-billionth time.

Iki looked ta the Aura in wonder. She had never actually met, or even seen, a VOID member. She lowered her arm and looked at him, uncertain. "Yeah, No problem." Her voice was a bit... disconnected. "Mr. Lelouch" She grinned slyly before turning to look for her board.

Kage's eyes lit up in delight, and he immediately stood, bowing low. "I am pleased to meet someone who is obviously awesome," he announced, a complete change in tone from before. "Hey, if you don't mind, I have a female costume of Shirley, but I don't do cross-dressing. Would you wear it to a con with me? I'd hate for it to go to waste," he offered, straightening with a grin. His former indifference was replaced with giddy friendliness. "I'll even pay."

Iki's eyes widened. "M-Me? But she's... She's pretty and happy and... Dead." She looked up at Kage with wide eyes. "Um, you don't have to pay. I'll... I guess... I don't see why not". She got even more uncharacteristically quiet as she kept talking. "I mean, I can pay for the rent of the costume."

"Rent? What are you talking about? Just take it," Kage said, shrugging. "I don't want any money," he continued, shrugging. "I'm just happy for someone to cosplay with. And besides, who said you weren't pretty? Happy you could work on, though, I agree," he finished, probably saying too much.

A smile flew across Iki's face. "I like your honesty and bluntness. It's a wonderful contrast to the flattery and false words I hear everyday for my king." She was happy to have found somebody... Real. "When is it?" Despite her usual confidence she was actually, stupidly, nervous. What if he was tricking her? What if something bad happened? What if- She cut her thoughts short as she found her board which, despite being it's usual worn self, was fine.

"Well, there's a local con on Saturday, and today is... Wednesday? So I'll meet you here with the costume, I guess. Tomorrow? Then you can try it on and tell me if I need to make adjustments," Kage replied, shrugging nonchalantly.

"Uh... Ok" Iki really had no clue what to add. "Um, Again I'm sorry. Oh! I know you didn't ask, and it may be rude, but my name is Yuriko . But people, when they talk to me or know me, call me Iki." She smiled, a true smile for once, and placed her board on the ground, standing on it and not sure if she should go or help him further.

"Nice to meet you. Sorry I didn't ask, but I got carried away," Kage replied, smiling back. "See ya," he added, waving.

Iki smiled and made a small contented 'Hmm' noise. Now life was good... If only she could eliminate Kyo. She pushed off, skating smartly out, only looking back once at the green haired man.

Iki stood, waiting for her 'trial' for the clothing. She shifted nervously, leaning against a tree and putting her headphones on. She wasn't playing anything, put it stopped her looking really lost and alone.

Kage strode into the area with a different costume on, this time looking like Natsu from Fairy Tail. He had the Shirley costume draped over his arm, humming along.

Iki saw red out of the corner of her eye. She turned to see a good looking man dressed up as a character from an anime. It was the fire one, right? And then she did a double take and crossed the whole 'Good looking' thing off her list. It was Kage. "Hey!" She called out, walking over and pulling her headphones down.

((That's kind of... a back-handed compliment..))

"Hey. Brought your costume," Kage said, smiling and turning to her. Of course, his glasses were still on, as he didn't use contacts for anything other than cosplay, and he needed to see.

(( XD Not my idea... It was Iki's, I swear!))

Iki's face held slight wonder, frustration and many other things. Well, until she rained the feeling sin and she was happy once more. "Thank you muchly, Kage! I haven't done this before!" She appeared bright, bubbly and quite excited. It was almost a completely different her.

((Yeah. He's good-looking... unless he's Kage. Then he's... Kage.))

Kage laughed, but was slightly wary. He held out the costume, watching her closely, yet discreetly. He wondered if she was actually happy, or hiding something. It was his job to analyze, after all.

(( Heh, humour. It works with everything. And I only just realized how complimenting these two are to each other. She's a trickster, meant to deceive. And he's the one who gets every detail.))

Iki turned her face away, eyes flitting over the material. "It's wonderful... Do you have contacts? Her eyes are quite different from mine..." She smiled, touching the uniform with a reverence.

Kage opened his hand, a contact case in it. "Uh huh," he said, still examining her. He supposed she might be truly happy after all. But still... wariness.

((Sorry, notification problems in general...))

Iki picked them up lightly but didn't open them. She wasn't as careless as to immediately lose them, which would be inevitable if the case was opened by the HOMRA members hands. Continuing her little happy cover she carefully took the uniform from Kage's hands and looked around. "Thank you again! And where should I get changed..."

"Well, there's still a day, so you can just do it at home. Are you going to tell me what you're hiding, or are you going to keep pretending to be ecstatic?" Kage asked, tired of it.

Iki smiled dropped from an overjoyed grin to a sly one smirk. "Me? I'm not hiding anything, but I'm glad you noticed." She took it and started to skate off, getting her board which had been waiting behind the tree. "Thanks, though, I'll do it soon!"

((We can't ff this part because she has to go back to HOMRA hq for a bit. Things are heating up, no pun intended.))

Findecano sat on the grass on the park, staring at the high-above sky. "These are the moments when I wish I was an angel.'

Fin left left the park to his HQ

Iwa sits on one of the park benches waiting for Ichigo.

Ichigo kept his promise, which he hardly does, and walked into the hearth of the park, where he saw Iwa. He decided to surprise her and snuck to the back of her before putting both hands on either side of here shoulders and said, "Boo," in a very seductive voice.

She jump up, scared to death. she looked behind her and saw Ichigo. "You scared the life out of me" she said playing around with her words.

"I did? Sorry then," he said, apologetically then went to sit beside her. "Have you had breakfast yet?" he asked.

She shakes her head. "No, I haven't I want to see you eat 6 plates on food again" She started giggle remembering it.

"4," he corrected her then grinned, "But I'm kinda full from yesterday's courses of food so I guess I'll eat like a normal human now."

She laughs. "Ok, let's go then" She gets up. "Lead the way"
