Crazy for Young Adult Books discussion

I have a dog. My son-in-law had the brilliant idea of calling her Scribble, because I'm a writer. Scribble is a Shorky. She's 1/2 Yorkie and 1/2 Shih Tzu. She's a wonderful dog, but barks too much.

I have a guinea pig named Rhino, a Bassett hound named Dodger, a mini wiener dog named Winnie, and a chihuahua named Pongo. :)

I have 3 cats (Buka, Igor and Oskar) and three fish tanks. My fish aren't named. I want to get a dog.

I have a guinea pig called Damon! He's around 2 years old now and he's like my closest friend.

These aren't all technically my pets, but I help take care of them and we all live in the same space, so . . . .

3 horses; 2 Welsh ponies, and 1 Gypsy vanner/Welsh cob cross. Their names are Gwen, Rhonwynne, and Tara.
3 dogs; an Irish water spaniel, a spaniel mutt, and a wirehaired dachshund. Their names are Jamie, Olivia, and Kite.
2 miniature donkeys, named Sherlock and Watson.
2 cats, named Mouse and Tickey (poor Tickey never got a real name).
1 hedgehog, named Bilbo! :)

I have a boxador doggie (half boxer/half lab) her name is Coco.

We have 2 dogs. One is an English bulldog named Swimmer and one is a Japanese chin named Spock. Swimmer is my husbands therapy dog and they are inseparable :) Spock is my snuggle buddy when I'm reading...

I have a tabby cat named Queenie. And a small Maltese dog named Coco! :D

I have 2 Tabby Cats =) One is mine and one is my brother's. Mine is Lester and my Brother's is Max =D

I have a black & white Shih Tzu named Oreo & an extremely large gray cat (breed unknown) named Effing Cat. EC was named Beilya as a kitten but once the cuteness wore off he quickly became Effing Cat, lol

Two cats - one is called Tinkerbell (from the animal home) and the other one is called Peach (my brother's choosing - he's obsessed with Mario). They are both jet black :)

I have a pudgy cat named Dee. She was originally my best friend's sister's cat, but she never payed attention to her. And whenever I'd spend the night at their house, Dee would follow me around. Then she ended up coming home with me. :)

I have a Khaki Campbell duke named Elena. I nicknamed her Belly, for the character in The Summer I Turned Pretty. When I call across the yard "Belly Button," she wiggles her tail feathers and comes to meet me.

My husband and I have a very sweet 7-year old Siberian husky. His coat is black and white and he has lovely, big brown eyes. Unlike a lot of dogs, he loves cats and he tries to make friends with all of them! He always looks so disappointed when they run away!!

Eh, probably not. They're cute, but I'm not an animal person.

Ah, I see. They are a lot of work so you really have to want them!

I don't mind the responsibility; I used to watch over my friend's dog. My brother's contemplating buying a dog, but I'd rather have a cat.

I would love my cat a lot more if she was actually social and hung around you and let you pet her. My cat just runs away. :(

Aw. :( My brother's friend has the most adorable cats. They all run away from me though LOL.

Scribble is an adorable name for a writer's dog!

I am quite the animal lover and my babies fill my free time and my heart ... my jack Russell/Chihuahua mix (Lucy), my barn kitty (Katrina - like the hurricane), my bay paint mare (Stella), my Friesian-cross gelding (Cheli), my three cows (Twinkle, Star & Diesel), my mischievious goat (Albie), and a small herd of sheep and flock of chickens. :) I often work them into my writing. My mare Stella is a smaller character in my young adult novel, Red Rock Ranch, and my gelding Cheli was my inspiration for the main character.

I'm not sure if I've ever posted in this thread before but here it goes anyway. I have three dogs: Buddy an Australian Shepherd/Lab mix who is 13, Rocky a 3 1/2 year old Border Collie, and Jazzmine a 4 year old Bichon Frise. :o)

I have 2 cats. One is a Russian Blue Mix and the other is just a short hair but she was the runt of the litter so she is still really small.

I have 3 dogs, shih tzu, lhapsa apso, and that hotdog type of dog. Their names are, Casey, Snoopy and Java. :)

I have one dog named Millie (a mini dachshund, to say the least) and a cat named Noggin (who is short-haired & Tuxedo-patterned). I also live with my grandparents, who have their own dog named Buddy (a Lhasa Apso).

Omg there are these two pets who I have been dying to have!! One is a hedgehog, I have always wanted one (: And the other is a puggle, which is a mix of beagle and a pug :D There are both soo cute!!

I have 2 dogs. One is a chihuahua - mix breed. His name is Chico. The other is an australian shephard - also a mixed breed. Her name is Missy. Chico is going on 12 years old and Missy is 8 years old. They are both my kids. I love them to death and give them lots and lots of love. (hence, they're rotten to the core!)

I have 3 rotten kitties, a grey tabby named Boi, a Siamese named Missy and a Russian Blue named Penny. 1 dog, a smelly ancient Lhasa-Pooh named Nikki and a gold fish I call Sir Fishy Fisherton.

I have 4 dogs: Indy ( my favorite), Roxy, Brownie and Bolt. We have 4 cats Kanjer, Cusar, Aqua and one name that I have idea how to write down and one Horse named Esperit.

5 small dogs, two cats and two horses plus assorted chickens. Our mares who happened to be gaited are named Topaz and Belle, the cats, Rainbow Sherbert,the manx persian cross and Lexie the flamepoint ragdoll cross. The dogs are Flynn the Sheltie, Foxy Sheltie/chi, Falena Yorkie/chi, Pippin Boston/Chi and Tinker Pom-chi. I have a baby Dixon, about nine weeks old. His name is North!

I have one dog. He is a beautiful papillon who is 8 years old. His name is Meeko and he is my baby :)
