Steph (angel4492) | 32776 comments Hiya, Team Caps! Thanks for volunteering to guide your team through a round of BookShelf Bingo!

Your job, should you choose to accept it, will require a few things:
1 ~ Be our go-to person should we have any questions about your team
2 ~ Organize your teammate's weekly reads for each shelf/category so that the BSB Ninjas can quickly and easily verify and approve your stamp request(s)
3 ~ Encourage and motivate your team (you may also ask to borrow Judithe's whip whenever necessary)
4 ~ Post regularly to ensure your team is communicating and on track each week (Send them a PM and friendly poke if they haven't posted at least once a week, noted their book choice, and/or appear to have dropped out of webspace)
5 ~ Send us a PM (Steph, Sandra or Judithe) should you need us for any reason throughout the game

lol, I'm currently attending a class on how to launch a business. It's a 200 hours course that should finish mid September. I'm taking the long way around because I don't want it to fail. Funny how so small a hobby can be so much work to set up right! It's considered a cosmetic so there is a shit ton of rules and regulations to follow on top of the business segment.

If you want I can post pictures of my latest attempts from time to time.

message 32: by Lis (new)

Lis | 4038 comments I connected to your FB page, so I've seen a few there. Very cool!

message 33: by Judithe, Soap Operas never end.... (new)

Judithe | 6566 comments As for time zones, I'm in Japan...Wednesday shelf is the middle of my night, so I get it on my Thursday morning...always check but may not have time to post. So, try not to worry if you don't hear from me super quick.

Also anticipating the first really BIG typhoon of the season...coming almost straight on...but should be able to at least check in via phone.

Today, work and battening down the hatches are the priority. See ya this evening! (Hopefully!)

message 34: by Jenne (new)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 1179 comments Stay safe Judithe!

message 37: by Jenne (new)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 1179 comments First shelf!!!
strong heroine

message 38: by Lis (new)

Lis | 4038 comments So many many choices... For free space I'll go with and Wicked Embers (Souls of Fire, #2) by Keri Arthur

For the Strong Heroine shelf I'm deciding between Kiss of Steel (London Steampunk, #1) by Bec McMaster Burn for Me (Hidden Legacy, #1) by Ilona Andrews Soulless (Parasol Protectorate, #1) by Gail Carriger and Raphael (Vampires in America, #1) by D.B. Reynolds . Will take 'em for a short reading spin and see which one grabs me...

message 39: by Jenne (new)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 1179 comments BFM!!!!!!!!
Such a good book :)

Valerie ~ Val Hall ~ | 9662 comments ......mmmmmm, not sure what I'll choose. I don't feel like reading YA but I might have to. My main issue is starting yet another series that I won't be able to keep up with.

Can't decide between Fighting Destiny (The Fae Chronicles, #1) by Amelia Hutchins , Defiance (Defiance #1) by C.J. Redwine , Master of Crows (Master of Crows, #1) by Grace Draven (new to me)

or go with already started series Dark Instincts (The Phoenix Pack, #4) by Suzanne Wright , Bound by Flames (Night Prince, #3) by Jeaniene Frost , Waistcoats & Weaponry (Finishing School, #3) by Gail Carriger

message 41: by Jenne (new)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 1179 comments The fae chronicles are awesome =)
I'm about to go mow and I'll decide tonight.

Danielle Book Boss (daniellebookboss) | 1009 comments Just peaking in from team 7 to say ya'll's team name give me a giggle and I love it :)

message 44: by Jenne (new)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 1179 comments I'm going with Cruel Beauty by Rosamund Hodge for our first shelf =]

message 45: by Lis (new)

Lis | 4038 comments Kiss of Steel (London Steampunk, #1) by Bec McMaster it is for my strong heroine shelf pick....

message 46: by Judithe, Soap Operas never end.... (new)

Judithe | 6566 comments I'm going to read Written in Red (The Others, #1) by Anne Bishop (and must say I had a real laugh when I looked at the books that came up with that search!)

Work finished early...jammed all my lessons in so the kids can be safe at home...now spouse has a shoot-em-up modern "real-life" war movie on (not, not, not into that)...and I'm watching sheets of water come down...and the pretty patterns as the gusts hit them. If you want to see a cool graphic...go here. Home is just above the blue eye. It updates, so will see if I can add a screen shot...

Typhoon #11/Nangka

Now gonna search for my free space book...and grade a few papers.

message 47: by Judithe, Soap Operas never end.... (new)

Judithe | 6566 comments OK...fingers crossed that this will actually show up. If not, back later to delete or try again!

Valerie ~ Val Hall ~ | 9662 comments So I finally started Dark Instincts (The Phoenix Pack, #4) by Suzanne Wright and see where it leads. I'm not a fast reader but I normally manage a book per week. Don't know yet what my Free Space book is.

message 49: by Jenne (new)

Jenne (jennetheinstigator) | 1179 comments I started mine tonight...it's kind of sucked me in, very dark.
Judithe hope all is ok and you weathered the storm.

message 50: by Judithe, Soap Operas never end.... (last edited Jul 18, 2015 08:28PM) (new)

Judithe | 6566 comments Made it through fine, thanks Jenne!

Also finished (devoured!) my book! 5 stars...review will be up after work today....

And decided my free space book...from SOS bookshelf, Murder of Crows (The Others, #2) by Anne Bishop
