Silver I will be reading The Last Olympian by Rick Riordan for this theme. It is the last book in the Percy Jackson series. Needless to say I have quite enjoyed this series. I think they are fun, entertaining, and adventuresome books, as well as being easy reads. I also like seeing the way the author interprets some of the Greek Myths.

Melissa I have enjoyed all of Rick Riordan's books. I want to reread this series as well as read the Lost hero series that spins off from this one.

I enjoyed his Kane series (Egyptian gods).

I like the way he presents Mythology and the characters he creates from the diffent Gods, the characters really show the qualities of each God really well.

I have the first book in the Egyptian series, but I wanted to wait until I finished this series before starting any more of his books.

Melissa The Egyptians read a bit different and have a different feel to them than the Olympian series.

Amara Tanith (aftanith) | 733 comments I read the Percy Jackson series back in '11; wasn't the best MG/YA series I've ever read, but definitely in the range of good. I've been wanting to get around to the Heroes and Kane series, but I keep procrastinating with other books. ;)
